for extra £6 (if you are BT broadband customer) you do get 20GB of data and unlimited minutes.

BT have just put their prices up ... Crazy
It's 15mb , unlimited minutes for £25 , £20 if your a BT customer
Was £21 reduced to £16 if your with BT
Been looking for weeks and plus net SIM here ready to go

I meant to say the data could still be slow at busy times maybe

I am not doubting the experience of others , I have joined recently I needed some tech help , and I got through quickly on the phone and they were really helpful . I don't know if the data is throttled at the 4G speed tested at about 11 to 8 megabits a second . I am in the slightly cheaper two gig deal. I had a good deal with Vodafone but I got sick of being tied to a contract , this way I can keep my eye out for an amazing Sim only deal anytime .

Rip of charges for international calls. I will stick with ID mobile.

What sort of 4G mobile internet use does 4gb of data give?
I'm still on 3G and easily manage with 1.5gb of data, but I'm only browsing websites and using email. I don't stream or download from my mobile.
I'm curious as to how my usage would equate using 4G speeds.

4G is faster. You won't use more data unless you start loving having faster speeds and go crazy by streaming video, etc.

Have got to say contrary to their bullsh***t advertising Plusnet ( BT owned) do not care about customers, their webmail is atrocious and has been for at least 6 months, they say they can,t do anything about it till they get more server capacity. My advice would be steer clear of them!

...or just don't use an ISP provided email address?

3 Feb 172#22
never a good idea to use the email service from your ISP. What happens when you want to move ISP after 12 months, or if the company goes out of business. A better option is to use Gmail, or buy your own domain for a few quid and have *anything*@yourdomain.com

Didn't need to go through uswitch as was a deal on plus nets website
Topcashback direct to plus net was £12 per contract
Have just raised a claim and recognised all three contracts I took , only asked for order number , so I probably jumped to quick as was already in progress of tracking
Time will tell
I won't call or live chat as can text to port number

it will track but wont pay unless uswitch is the company you use through on cash back websites.
on the customer service side, we were with them when they were life, signal wasn't acceptable in our area so left, porting 2 sims they were hopeless, one went through ok but the other 2 took ages and had issues, all fixed eventually and credit given. Customer Service was quick and very nice to speak to, on leaving rep was awful, not the type of guy you really want to talk to if the company ever want you to go back.
A month ago, went back to them as plusnet, sim didn't arrive in time due to Christmas post, 45 mins on webchat to be told that I needed to contact them on webchat when it arrived before they could cancel. So when it did, 40 minutes again on webchat to be told it had to be done over the phone. then 45 minutes on hold and then disconnected. Another 45 min wait and then passed to another department for another 30 minute wait. Tempted by the deal but might wait until they sort our customer service.

Great offer if you're not already with Plusnet for your broadband. A kick in the teeth if you are, as their"mates rates" are the same.
So much for existing customer discounts.
My advice: if you're already with Plusnet broadband, don't click to say that you're an existing customer, because if you move your broadband they'll halve your data allowance.

Awful company. Had two sims, and broken promises as my mobile data would not work, in any phone I tried it.
Cancelled the contract within the 14 day cooling off, they tried to stall me. Still waiting for the £5 to be returned. Not holding my breath.
I finally had enough when they wanted £30 Account termination fee (Even out of contract) Got it cancelled after a rant.
Customer service were nice enough, but of no help.
I would not cut off my nose, to spite my face, but it would have to be an exceptional deal to go back to them.

Hmm. I'm currently on 7.50 a month with 2gb, unltd texts and 1500 minutes (I think). Wondering if 2gb more data is worth 2 pounds 50. Tricky. Loving the 4G everywhere, but I think speeds are throttled compared to EE SIM.

I'd rather go with a BT deal as need 5 contracts , BT do a family one rather than having to set up 5 accounts
Suppose with 5 seperate plus net contracts it's £60 tcb ?
Edit , just taken 3 x £10 rolling contracts with plus net , will see if they all track before I do the others

£12 tcb too even though takes two months to pay out so could potentially be £8 if you left because of poor sevice! Don't see what the problem is

Their customer support is dire over the phone, but online it's just about ok.
Go there for the prices, but not the service.

Regarding their customer service, I spoke to customer service online chat 2 days ago to order a replacement sim, the sim arrived yesterday and I called them up to get the number swapped over, no problem at all.

True but isn't that the same as virgin used to be 30 days and double data if with virgin tv or 12 months if not on virgin tv now when you click not a virgin customer it says we don't care and you get the same 30 day and double data promotion! A kick in the teeth as you put it! Surely they are all the same!
