Got this on launch and spent the 1st 2 weeks telling everyone how amazing it was and that VR was the future. 2 months later im now selling it, the novelty wore off.....although at the start i was adamant it wasn't a novelty item!

What an utterly stupid thing to do. With that logic you must sell every console you buy after a few months because you're tired of the launch games. Jesus, have a little patience and you might just get to play some great new games on it...

Just a word of warning. I've been reading a lot in different threats that people who bought stuff from Very during Christmas using the same method, have had issues receiving their credits back into their accounts. So if you are buying, buy it for £349.99 and if you've got the credit back, then it is just a bonus.

Never had an issue with Very in the past, and I own the PSVR and can't compliment it enough, so heat all the way for the price from me

Where did you get the code from?
Because if someone tries to use a code that wasn't assigned to them, there's a good chance Very will claw back the beneift later on...

It's in their T&C - if you use a code not assigned to you they will nulify its benefit.
They will charge it back to your credit account, or just eventually get the debt collectors onto you and your credt rating sullied.
Don't take my word for it, plenty of anectodotal evidence out there that they do this.
Although I do see that this is a site wide code (checked with another browser, my ad blocker got a bit too helpful in Firefox). But beware other randomly posted codes - they will claw the money back.

This was the same for me for the GearVR. I think as the technology progresses it will get more popular. The main issue with VR is the low resolution, this can't be easily solved until more powerful hardware appears.

I think it is a novelty - anything that makes you look stupid while you have it on will not last. 3d glasses? And they were just glasses, this thing looks like a giant plastic space helmet. The big companies will make a-bit of money at our expense and then it will get dropped. The only person I know to have one tells me it is brilliant but he also tells me he has only actually used it once. He bought it at launch.

Got mine at launch, was a truly mind blowing experience, but novelty certainly wears off and I found myself spending less and less time on the VR "games" or rather, demos and experiences and more time back on normal games. Sold b4 Xmas to cash in on supply and demand. Basically got to use it for 2 months and get paid £100 for the privilege!! Maybe one day with a wireless solution, better resolution and no motion sickness this will be a gaming revolution however now it is very much a (very impressive) novelty. Heat for a good price though!

I had this voucher, it's only applicable if you're upgrading to a credit account - which is likely to leave a credit imprint if you do (even if you don't fall foul of the 'competitive' 39.9% APR!)

There are already great games, ie Batman & Resi Evil but ive become bored of what i now see as a novelty format. Most of my time is still back on conventional 2d gaming. With your logic you must still be loving your Atari Jaguar...how are the 231 buttons treating you?

Should be safe with a code.
NEVER EVER do a BNPL offer with Very. I should of got £70 back from a PS4 Pro but they said their system didn't register it as BNPL so I don't get my money back..
Read dozens of comments on Trust Pilot confirming this. They basically just tell you that you didn't click BNPL when you did! Unbelievable!!

BS
I got my £70 back and I even got the £23-£25 quidco tracked and paid for that offer.
If you didn't get the £70 you did something wrong, as every other person who didn't get it also.
Very by nature attracts low income types and by nature these low income types always miss understand what they are doing. Not saying you are, but that's where Very gets it's bad press from, apart from religiously enforcing it's terms.

That's exactly what happened to me so I complained and have just been fobbed off for two months. I now owe more money that the thing is worth. Check Facebook as well, Trustpilot, etc many many unhappy customers. Will never use Very (stupid) again.
I used a similar code yesterday £50 off £100 spend account specific, and I can confirm the credit was applied straight away to my account, obviously that's if you put it on buy now pay later, dunno what happens if you pay up front for it.

Also, how are their systems not registering bnpl purchases? The fact that the website states the order would have been bought using it and the fact that no money gets taken straight away should indicate so. I got an ipad pro on bnpl last September and had the 100 quid credit back as promised a month later.

RES7 on VR is amazing. Must have if you like horror games.

Nice but they said I did not qualify for some reason. I have complained but it has taken two months, 3 customer service agents, the social media team and a "specialist" team to investigate and I still don't have an answer. In the meantime interest building on account so it is actually costing me more than £349 in the long run. Very don't know how to run a business and retain customers

Do you actually have an updated source for this.. Everything I'm seeing was posted November and December. Sony are stating sales on track.. If others were saying 2million units before end of 2016 but only 750 Thousand were produced in the first batch then obviously the figures are wrong.
As anyone should be able to work out.. If it's in stock and selling cheaper than RRP on eBay it's not selling. if retailers are out of stock and prices are higher on eBay then it's obviously popular.. Also the heat of the deal..
