Really lovely and thoughtful Valentines gift idea. I've just done one for the other half with a collage of all our favourite pictures and written a sloppy message across them :stuck_out_tongue: You get an 11oz photo mug which would usually be £10.98 delivered but you just pay the postage so its just £2.99 delivered. Limited to one per household - order by 7th February for delivery in time for Valentines day but the offer is on until 15th February if you want it for a birthday, Mothers day or other gift.

Another idea is to get scan pictures and a picture of the mum and dad - I did this for my friend and gave it her at her baby shower and she burst into tears!

The mug probably costs them less than 50p and probably a contract for posting so cheap there to, companies never loose out. plus you might buy more stuff.... nothing is free somewhere somehow someone pays........

That's really odd - snapfish has been around for years, and their processing has brought up most other photo places. Maybe snapfish uk is new and snapfish us (or snapfish HP) as a company is old? I am sure there is no problem with them selling details or anything else - I have ordered from them since 2007 without problems.

Hope you get it sorted. I had a few problems loading pictures and it came up with dotted lines potentially cutting off a lot of the image, so had to select various pictures to ensure that it would be OK. Said it would arrive today, but not had a notice yet to say it has been sent. In the past I have found Snapfish very trying!

Is there no way of previewing what this would actually look like on a mug, or am I missing the option? Never known of a site which does photo printing onto products that doesn't give you a preview, and I've even ordered from Snapfish before a few times.

I so hope this works. I have a picture that I want printed on a mug but it is dropping the top and bottom of the photo. Customer services / help desk can't give me a correct solution.

Yes they tend to change the dimensions of the photos - so whatever is cut off won't be on the mug. It is possible to resize your photo and try again - but often this affects the res and quality of the photo

I have tried and tried, I am new to this, but I can't find anywhere that will let me resize my photo.

Yes it is a flaw in the system - you can get closer into the image, but you can't make it smaller. You'd have to use software on your machine and reupload the pics.

Click on minimize so the pic goes smaller, then click move, the picture then becomes adjustable, click on the circles surrounding the picture and drag to your desired size, hope this works for you.

Just got mine. Very pleased with it. It is a picture covering the whole mug, so glad I went with the photo I chose. All the ones before have only covered part of the mug and were always printed slightly off centre.

Mine arrived today too, extremely impressed. Agree with Warner - the way to go is the images that cover the whole mug - so many others only partly do it. Also the background colour makes a massive difference with collages.

Can't believe the broken mug J0n - that's terrible: the boxes they come in are really secure, so the post office must have really been throwing the mug around to cause that! Disgraceful.
