It doesn't say anywhere in title or description solid gold or imply any carat weighting - rose gold is the colour and how Pandora describe the item. You don't buy a rose gold iPhone and expect it to be solid gold do you?

You cannot compare car resale and plated jewellery resale it's a complete different market like it or not when it comes to the 2nd hand car market the proffit to be made and demand is huge and when it comes to 2nd hand Jewellery the market for plated items is simply non-existent - like I said most jewellery pawn shops won't offer anything for plated items. You buy a car and sell it you won't perhaps make what the retail price is but you will makes a large chunk where as with plated jewellery other than new retail the market is simply non existent for resale value.

If you buy a brand new car for 50k its worth 30k after 1 or 2 years.

Same with everything you buy. You can't buy something like this and have a thought in your head that its only worth 25p to resell it on or to sell it as scrap silver. You have to buy it because you like the look of it.

For example, can you find the exact same item but in 22ct solid gold?. You can't, so you buy it for the design/style for what it is. People will pay anything for anything, and as this is a deal site, the OP's deal is the current cheapest you can find of this brand.

No I'm basing my opinion on that fact I think it's cheap plated jewellery that most jewellery pawn shops won't even buy/pawn so it's worthless when it come to resale.

Anything has resale value if the consumer likes the look of it, the style, the design...etc.
