See Techradar reviews. It handles both HD and SD the same. Very good. The other TV to consider is the Samsung Ks7000.

Yes, that why I have two Nvidia Shield TVs - I mentioned the Firefox OS because it's already been canned by it's creator and it's never going to get the same level of support as Android TV or Samsung's Tizen OS. Anyone buying this TV should factor in the purchase of an additional device if they want to ensure access to 'smart' features in the longer term.

One thing worth noting in case useful to someone is the optical and ethernet ports come directly out the back rather than side. This makes it awkward if wall mounting.

The OS is nice and slick on this TV, not many apps though. All smart TVs eventually go slow and become unsupported. Much better to forget all about the smart features and use an external device like Fire TV etc. That can be replaced every few years for and you're not relying on the TV manufacturer for updates.

Lmao I thought the same and figured it's just the manufacturers motion blur enhancement effects. TV is 60hz.
I had this tv, but took it back to John lewis as viewing angle was terrible, ok if looking at it straight on, but at an angle forget it! Any programmes with black in it, meant large pixels could be viewed, making it unwatchable. some "normal channels" just looked horrendous and again hd was ok, but not great and if watching from an angle DO NOT buy this TV. if watching from head on, I would rate this as ok, but nothing special.

Second the comment regarding viewing angles. Picture looks washed out and grey when viewing from anything other than immediately in front of the set.
Mine is being picked up tomorrow.

Is the viewing angle worse than Samsung?

Had one about a month. Very good tv but reformats any hard drive that you connect to the use slot so that it is not recognised by an ordinary computer. I have raised the issue with Panasonic but no joy so far

I have the 58inch version. Love it.
All this 8bit versus 10bit palava. Forget it. Unless you want to spend £1.5k+ on Samsung or LG OLED then this is a great option.

How are you finding the Firefox OS? Intuitive? I have read some positive reviews so far.

Might be worth holding on if you can wait as you get a 5 or 6 year guarantee with those guys.
