Would depend on which character you choose. Hanzo.. probably not but you'll do fine with characters that don't need to be accurate (pharah, symmetra, etc)

I use controller because I get terrible repetitive strain using kb and mouse for long periods of play.
You'll be fine if you put in the training and find your sensitivity settings. I'm not boasting but I more than hold my own against keyboard and mouse players. I play heroes like Widowmaker and McCree who both need good aim to play well so I think you'll be ok.

Bought this for 17 quid via Taiwanese Origin store and is a fun game. But it does make me think just how incredible TF2 is....still a fantastic game and still free...

Fantastic game, genuinely one of the best I've played. Can be infuriating to play with idiots who don't understand the mechanics, but definitely a damn good experience. Competitive Season just ended which I guess could be related to the small fall in price? Grabbed my Diamond ranking now ready for next season! Hot!

It's a great game but you'd be limiting yourself using a controller. You'd be alright in minimal time after a bit of practise on a KB/M. I bought a PC mostly for this game, took me a few long sessions to get back into KB/M, hadnt PC gamed in 10 years or so. You rank against similar skilled people so if you are decent with a controller you'd probably rank with average pc users. Just remember its a team game, play it like that any you'll be fine. Run in like a one man army and you'll die over and over, especially against KB/M users.
