With Mass Effect next month Origin Access is probably the better deal. With online one games if the community dies the game does, and this seems to be dead.

Excuse the non gamer question, but if I buy this is there a decent single player mode?

There is no single player game in that at all, apart from a few time trial type levels this game has no single player campaign, one of it's biggest let downs as the detail in the game would have made one amazing single player game.

Picked this up for £9.99 about 3 months ago - wish I still had my £9.99.

It seems far preferable to simply do Origin Access, unless a hoarder, considering the replayability. Furthermore, as the playerbase is reportedly low on the PC, I think the season pass is a poor choice and there's a probability EA will offer it for free (in the future).

Thanks for the heads up on that. I've been waiting on the season pass to come down to a decent price. But @ £12.99 with 5% off and 2.2% quidco it still works out at £12.06 :stuck_out_tongue:

Had such hopes for this game. Graphically it is incredible it just forgot to follow the principles of keeping players.

In a years time everyone that is bored with everything else might just play that game that they bought for £10 from Asda... mine is still sealed!

It's also worth mentioning that Battlefront is a part of Origin Access [£3.99 a month]
