Not a great deal . Picked up 4 in total from different Sainsburys in pink . Two cost me £5 each and the other 2 cost me £7.50 each they also had them on the Sainsburys website for £7.50 but have now discontinued this model hence the cheap price and the fact they sold out very quickly online . Apparently they also had the black for the same price but the only ones I could find left happened to be pink lol .

Used one for years, 2000 model or similar. Eventually it and a few years after another died. So temporarily replaced it with one of those under £10 battery powered Oral Bs, the one on Amazon with five star reviews. I don't think it "oscillates" in the same way as the Oral B rechargeable ones (there's technical detail if you ring Oral B about this to ask what is the difference). And I think it's not as effective, in comparison. But the huge plus is it goes a month, on one charge, used twice a day for two minutes, using 1000 mAh rechargeable AA batteries. Twice as long as the much more expensive plug in rechargeable Oral Bs. Meaning either Oral B use a low capacity rechargeable battery inside or the device requires a lot more power and because of that exhausts after a few weeks. Either way I'm sticking to the battery version.

I have the pink one of this - it is a good brush and I got mine for £12.50. But it basically needs hours to charge after every time I use it. If you forget to charge it at least one night every 2 days it takes at least 26 hours to charge up.

For £12.50 I canput up with it but I wonder what the charging costs are. My 15 year old Oral B 3D has lost abit of power but it still lasts a week on a charge. But I would never buy one of the more expensive Oral B ones now as I have no proof that they last a decent amount of time between charges.

I have one of these and agree that it last about 1.5 days then takes 2 days to charge up.

I emailed Oral B and complained and they just asked for loads of info, receipts, had I charged it incorrectly etc.

Are the Sonicare ones any better?

Unfortunately have to agree with Vomit - I have always had the oral b electric toothbrushes but when I had this one it seemed to struggle and lose power quicker than my previous ones! A reasonable price though for this set and if happy to charge after every brush could suit a lot of folk - Heat for the price

Managed to pick one of these up in tesco last year for a similar price. In my opinion it is pretty rubbish, the battery only lasts a few days and it's very noisy. Eventually I gave up with it and bought a much better sonicare brush.
