Techinthebasket has two A3003 models with B20 support and three Chinese A3010 models left. Coupon code TITB20 gives £20 off which makes the price of a 64GB model to £301. And this is a brand new phone with the cable and dash charger unlike the O2 refresh deal and no faffing around with cancelling airtime, credit hit etc. No idea how good this company is but seem to have above average ratings in trustpilot and amazon, have deals posted in HUKD before and ships from UK - but don't expect John Lewis to pick up the phone if you call customer care.

Went for this deal so heat to the OP. One call to O2 to give 30 days notice to cancel and pay the £168 remaining loan balance, so no real hassle to save £130 on retail price.
Came in an O2 box with a USB-C cable, no Dash charger.
Condition wise - if you get the 'Perfect' option, it is in 'Perfect' condition other than the original screen protector that OnePlus apply is removed.

£26 a month is including the airtime, but the deal as posted here does not take this into consideration as you'll be cancelling this. So, the £315.99 final cost is worked out as follows:
£99.99 (upfront) + £0 x24 (cancelled airtime) + £9 x24 (device plan paid off in full) = £315.99 payable

An O2 Refresh deal is two things: a loan to buy a phone, and a pay-monthly airtime contract. One of the things that can be problematic is the loan, which shows up on credit searches in a way that can apparently be seen negatively.
If you want to just get a phone at a cheap price, you path the upfront cost, take out the loan, and sign up to the airtime contract. Then you phone O2 to pay off the loan in its entirety (so you pay for the device outright, and the loan ends), and to cancel the airtime (assuming you don't actually want it).
My own experience is that paying for the device was simple and hassle-free, but I phoned three times to cancel the contract as I wasn't convinced the first two reps had actually done it. Even on the third try I didn't get any confirmation of cancellation, and in fact I've been told I'll only know for sure when I get a final bill after two weeks. That final bill is supposed to show a £14 charge, offset by a £14 credit since I never used the airtime. I will be cancelling the direct debit anyway, and if for some reason the charge isn't cancelled I'll argue my case (ie that I cancelled it an hour after ordering, while the SIM and phone were in the post, so it was never used).
If anything becomes a hassle, it will be that; I don't know what difficulties others have had in the past though.

Thanks for this deal; just what I needed as my current phone became virtually unusable a few months back. I've ordered, paid in full and apparently cancelled the airtime.
Can anybody recommend a screen protector and a case? I hear that none of the tempered glass screen protectors are that great with this phone (because of the curve I think) -- and there are far too many case options out there! I want something that will protect against a fall while not adding too much bulk. Recommendations gratefully received.

Honestly a really great phone, nice and light and also easy to control with one hand, also with a one hand mode built in to MIUI as well, has some tweaks that you need to get things like Android Pay running but that's due to it looking to a Chinese wallet by default. Lineage runs well on it and the camera was great too.

Just keep this in mind that refresh like new are still customers return doesn't matter O2 gives them whatever name they like. So occasionally you may end up having a faulty phone. I got Note 3 on O2 refresh with faulty mic and with fast draining battery. Cancelling O2 refresh air time another pain in the a** with multiple letters from O2 and calling them many times to sort out the mess. I had to cancel the direct debit in the end. Until and unless there is a massive bargain O2 refresh is not worth to buy

If you want to get it for £315.99 as advertised in this thread, then yes, once you receive the phone you'll need to call O2 & pay off the remainder of the device plan in full straightaway, whilst also cancelling the airtime - make sure they do both properly & ask for confirmation for both in writing via email.
Do you have to pay the phone off in full straight away or can you cancel the airtime and pay for the phone monthly?

How can I be trolling for stating a FACT?
No matter where you look on the O2 site, there is still no £321.99 PAYG option (as Babbler implied) - so what I said was right.
Yes, clearly there is a £418 PAYG option (I never denied that), but that wasn't sam2142's query.

Every time i see an O2 refresh deal it makes me shudder
Seriously guys, in all the years of HUKDing, sorting out the aftermath of taking out an O2 refresh deal is truly horrendous. They took an additional £400 out of my account after I'd paid for the device outright (online bill showing £0 owed). This took me 3 weeks to sort out and get a refund and then they ruined my credit score with a phony/incorrect credit default on my file (they didnt even contact me to say we think you owe us some cash)
It has taken me 3 months to sort out the credit score issue.
Its just not worth the risk

An S7E can be had for less £50 more than the O2 official price.
One of the best phones? questionable. The most hyped definitely.
It's main attribute is speed and even that is in question now it has been discovered that skullduggery has been in use to produce it benchmarks and speed test results.
The camera's performance's is average at best and the screen is in the same class, so it its pretty hard to see how it can be classified as one of the best devices.
Its a good high mid ranged device that's were the facts put it.

I was referring to the camera specifically with the 'speed and clarity' comment, I agree the OnePlus 3T is probably one of the fastest phones out there but I didn't keep one as my main phone because I want expandable memory and waterproofing - I generally don't need to remove the memory card but at least in the event of a hardware failure I can remove it and waterproofing is just a nice feature; I've never lost a phone to water damage but when spending that money it's a nice thing to have. Also the OnePlus 3T was fractionally too big for me, but no doubt, an amazing handset for the money.

Same here, lovely phone and this is coming from a Galaxy S7 which wasn't exactly a slouch... Camera wasn't great originally, but seems to have really improved with the OOS 4.03 update. (especially in low light conditions)

£315.99 actually - please see my comment in post #32.
I would say 99% of the time the fault lay with O2, who didn't cancel the airtime properly when they were requested to over the phone. That's why they issue full refunds most of the time. If the customer was at fault, why would they?
Yes, it will, but many credit applications in a short space of time is apparently not a good thing for one's credit rating - see: What affects your credit rating?. It won't affect everybody equally as everyone's circumstances are different. That's why some say that it (i.e. taking out these O2 Refresh deals) has negatively affected their credit rating & ability to get credit elsewhere, while others say it has not affected theirs in any way. It's something to be aware of, & the possible consequences it could have on one's borrowing life.

Rich069
23 Feb 17#39
Because they probably didnt do it in the right order, or leave a gap between doing the 2 things. As for the credit agreement, wouldnt paying it off in full or at least each month on time work in their favour as good creditors? Maybe only a negative if the outstanding amount effected their ability to borrow more if on a low income?
Crossbow
23 Feb 17#38
He / she is right - some people (a small minority) have had those problems, but O2 have always resolved/refunded them without a fuss.

No, this will come in an O2 box with just a cable. There will be no other original accessories

I love my 3T, i went of the 128Gb version, my previous phone was the Note 3, I prefer the 3T to the Note 3. This seem a good deal OP, have some heat.

I will be moving from note 3 (Samsung) - do you miss anything from note?

Anyone know the cheapest place to get a Oneplus 3t brand new? I've only found them at retail price (so £399).

If you got address in Europe then it's cheaper to order this way. Mind you, you'd have to use credit card with no international fees. This way 128gb cost £407. I plan to order mine to Poland and then fetch it when on holidays.

I'm not sure about SIM free but I got my OnePlus 3T on contract through o2 chat. I got the 128gb plan with £90 upfront + £28 per month (for the 500mb plan) for £80 upfront and £26 a month.

Do they require you to give 30 days notice for cancelling the airtime contract?

The joys of cancelling the refresh deal  Hassle at it's very best.

Don't mean to be picky, but the price should be £315.99

Just need a clarification, isn't the price for just the device is the "Device Cash Price" which is £321.99, when buying the device and cancelling airtime?
And if taking it out on the contract with airtime, then the price you pay at the end of the contract for the device is £315.99?

Great phone but seems OnePlus have been caught benchmark cheating - so potentially not quite as good as everyone thought and not a massive speed gain over the normal 3! OnePlus 4 is due anytime soon, we may hear something at MWC.

Came in an O2 box with a USB-C cable, no Dash charger.
Condition wise - if you get the 'Perfect' option, it is in 'Perfect' condition other than the original screen protector that OnePlus apply is removed.
I know they cheated on benchmark tests but either way they really did good.
£99.99 (upfront) + £0 x24 (cancelled airtime) + £9 x24 (device plan paid off in full) = £315.99 payable
Can anybody recommend a screen protector and a case? I hear that none of the tempered glass screen protectors are that great with this phone (because of the curve I think) -- and there are far too many case options out there! I want something that will protect against a fall while not adding too much bulk. Recommendations gratefully received.
The CS is also well known for being poor at best. Check the prices on all the SD 821's coming out of china, this is one of the most expensive.
This deal is much better http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/moto-z-32gb-sim-free-black-silver-white-gold-299-95-with-2-years-guarantee-john-2623623
Cheaper
Brand new
2 yr warranty
Better hardware and software
This company is the best in the world
Cheap price Absolutely brilliant phone
I currently own one
Please be aware, this kind of deal may not be a good idea if you'll be applying for credit elsewhere for more important things in the next few weeks/months - this is worth a read: Beware split tariff mobile contracts if you're about to apply for credit
Cheers
No matter where you look on the O2 site, there is still no £321.99 PAYG option (as Babbler implied) - so what I said was right.
Yes, clearly there is a £418 PAYG option (I never denied that), but that wasn't sam2142's query.
I repeat: the answer I gave was for sam2142 only & it is 100% correct.
What I didn't specify is that the phone is not available for £321.99 "on PAYG" - which it isn't anyway.
So, my answer was correct for sam2142's query (not for you or anyone in general). Just for sam2142, who it was directed at.
I corrected you and told it was at £418.
I knew full well it wasn't available for £321.
sam2142, who my answer is for, will get it :smirk:
Seriously guys, in all the years of HUKDing, sorting out the aftermath of taking out an O2 refresh deal is truly horrendous. They took an additional £400 out of my account after I'd paid for the device outright (online bill showing £0 owed). This took me 3 weeks to sort out and get a refund and then they ruined my credit score with a phony/incorrect credit default on my file (they didnt even contact me to say we think you owe us some cash)
It has taken me 3 months to sort out the credit score issue.
Its just not worth the risk
If you choose the £321.99 'pay for your device in full' option lower down the same page, you'll still need to cancel the Airtime part of the contract.
Quick tip for anybody getting the phone. OTA updates take bloody ages to reach the UK, so you're better off installing Opera VPN and connecting to Germany or Canada then checking for updates.
There are still plenty of issues on the 3T there were on the 3, if you use the camera a lot I would suggest trawling the forum on the subject before you buy.

If they make an expensive but amazing phone I might be interested, if they get the battery right.
Meanwhile my redmi note 3 pro SE is a joy, for £130. Especially the battery life: I won't buy another phone without a 8 -10h screen time...
If not ... please don't feed the troll!
Pass :O

Yes, it will, but many credit applications in a short space of time is apparently not a good thing for one's credit rating - see: What affects your credit rating?. It won't affect everybody equally as everyone's circumstances are different. That's why some say that it (i.e. taking out these O2 Refresh deals) has negatively affected their credit rating & ability to get credit elsewhere, while others say it has not affected theirs in any way. It's something to be aware of, & the possible consequences it could have on one's borrowing life.
Also, this kind of deal may not be a good idea if you're applying for credit elsewhere with more important things - worth a read: Beware split tariff mobile contracts if you're about to apply for credit
The gist: "If you're planning to buy a latest model phone from O2, be aware that you'll actually be taking out a loan for the handset, which will appear on your credit file and could impact your ability to get credit elsewhere."
£99.99 + £0 x24 [cancelled Airtime] + £9 x24 [device plan paid off] = £315.99
Any £10 Quick Charger will do the job - in other words, you don't need to buy a £40 one :smirk:

Besides once you've ordered the dash charger the savings are reduced to £52 over buying new

Don't think it'd be that much of an improvement performance wise against my s6 but I bet the battery is better!
Thanks for the reply. Appreciate it
