I finally got confirmation today that it has been shipped. Was only charged £10.25 which surprised me.

I'll say this. I preordered one 2 mounts ago for the date at the start of April but the date was pushed back to 3rd. So ok on 3rd was pushed back to 10 then 18 and now beginning May. Just a friendly warning to you all.

Yep it's a shoddy practice. A lot of cases seemed to have been delayed oddly though.

And if you try to cancel they make a small charge, lovely company.

Now delayed until 31.03.17. Seriously frustrating as I've prepaid.

Saw this on HUKD a few days ago as a comment on another switch case deal. It's great as it's the only place you can get it in the UK. Hopefully they'll bring the blue Zelda one in the UK too :smiley:

I almost ordered that one but then chose against it when I saw it wouldn't have room for a gamecard case I decided against it (I don't trust the pouches for them after owning a PS Vita case with them that unthreaded itself and rendered that part useless)

They store your credit card details on their own servers? If Sony gets hacked so regularly, these shops really can't be trusted with credit card info. Shame.

This is nice, but between the fake leather look demonstrated in the video (thanks for that btw, very useful) and the really lame back of it, I'm not really charmed. I must say though the two game cases which contain four each are an unexpected bonus for this one, as it is more modest and practical for normal users, at least in the forseeable future. I mean a big fan may buy 24 physical games but you really won't need to take them all with you. Even at the end of life for Wii U my travel selection is 4-8 depending on how much variety is needed.

Anyway, I digress. I'm tempted between two right now. The decorative one posted in this thread which can be seen (here). It's nice to look at, I'm not a big fan of blue link taking over half of the front but the back is more modest and the gold flair zip goes well with the set.
One of the upsides is plenty of game storage there (14) but it's a bit daft that your switch screen will have to face up to either the games or whatever you put in the pouch. Easily solved by using only one side (e.g. putting the games in the pouch). Not ideal though, and a small case for games like the one included in this deal would help a lot.

My other option is a slim protective sleeve like this one from argos. Slim, subtle, no fuss or bulk. Cheap too. Great for throwing in the backpack when all you want is basically protection from scratches and scuffs.
I need to talk myself out of talking myself into getting more than one case, because I'm on a dangerous path here...
Edit: Don't buy that last option from argos, the size is VERY wrong.

Hori make great accessories and this one looks to be no exception. Hard case with space for a few games, nice and slimline with no fancy bells and whistles. Ticks all my boxes but of course it's down to personal preference.

Just noticed, Shopto are selling tempered glass screens for the Switch, too bad it's not cut so that the speakers aren't covered. I think I'll bite at this this though, looks like a great little case.

This is a fantastic looking case and certainly the best of the officially licensed ones. If you don't mind one that isn't officially licensed then this one from Gioteck is another fantastic offering. It is bigger than the one linked but doesn't have a handle.
