At the risk of repeating myself from another thread, I'd urge anyone buying NowTV passes to both keep the scratchcard with the code, and to take a screenshot of your account once the pass has been applied.
I got one of these 6 month deals at Currys in December and added the code at the end of the month, taking my sub to the end of July (stacked with final month of previous sub). On Monday, I had £6.99 (regular monthly Entertainment cost) taken from my account by NowTV . On checking my account, the 6 month pass has just disappered from my account. I only have one Now TV account, so there's no way I applied it to the wrong account, and I saw the code applied with my own eyes.
Now TV said that unless I have the original code or a screenshot, there's nothing they can do. Having been with them for almost 4 years without a problem, I had no thoughts to keep the scratchcard or take a screenshot. I will from now on :disappointed:
Just a friendly warning so others don't experience the same

Just picked up one with a 6 month Entertainment pass at Tesco Sandhurst (aka The Meadows). There were a couple Entertainment packs left and a couple of 4 month Movies packs left. Shelved very close to the (more expensive) 3 month Entertainment packs.

Does anyone know how long you have to use/activate the vouchers? Sky contract ends soon and planning to cancel so this would come in handy for the Sky Atlantic fix.

Always worth cancelling the automatic billing once you topup with a voucher to stop any nasty surprises on your bank statement.

Apart from NowTV the boxes have some good apps - TuneIn Radio, YouTube, Spotify, Iplayer. Handy for sticking in a spare TV and connecting to WiFi

re shipping eBay, Poundland do 5 large sealable A4 post bags. Think that's cheapest option

Are the Box Sets included in the entertainment pass? Cos that's how I understand it on the Now TV web site.
It's not possible to flash them as technically they already are full roku 2 boxes. Roku is a fully cloud service, so whether you get NowTV or roku experience and the apps you can install is determined purely by how the permenant serial number of the box is recognised by rokus servers.

And how do you do that?
never seen that, I install plex on mine and sell them on.

I agree, I just dump it in CEX because it's quick and easy and in the same street I get the Now box, they will give you a £4 store voucher if there is anything you want in CEX too (I don't).
I think these boxes can fetch more money if you hack them by flashing their firmware back to the Roku that they are.

Of possible interest, for those like us into Game of Thrones but without access normally to Sky Atlantic. The next series of Game of Thrones is, allegedly, going to start on the 25th of June and will have 7 episodes. So a likely end on 6th August. So if you get one of these you might want to leave it until a bit later in Feb before registering if you want to watch all of Game of Thrones using it.

This was the same price in Peterborough and Huntingdon last week, picked one up to take my spend over £50, and used a £7 off voucher, worked out quite nicely

This box with 6 month entertainment pass yoyo's between £19.99 and £40 on the Tesco Direct, Argos and PC World websites, but all are £39.99/£40 at the money, so well worth checking out your local store if you need a Box or Entertainment pass or both.

Buy it, take the voucher out and then and take the box round to Cex, get £2 for it.
6 months for £18 is then £3 per month instead of £6.99.
Hot.
