As per the title, No Man's Sky on PS4 is now only £14.99. It's slightly cheaper at Smyths in store but it more online with postage, plus this will help people who don't have a Smyths local to them.

It's £14 delivered @ Tesco guys, if you've got no Smyths nearby.
Just to confirm it is also £14 in-store at Tesco. I was waiting for it to hit sub £15, so I picked up a copy yesterday.

It's overpriced by about £14.99.

You don't with PS4 or XB1 either. He's talking ****. It downloads the games files direct like steam. Hence downloading a 30GB game and once 5GB is done you can start playing but only the bit it's downloaded. PS3 had to uncompress and it took all day long. 360 didn't. PS4 pretty much says installed as soon as the download finishes like steam.

looks like the hard drive is set to become less of a problem:
Not with Steam you don't, unless it's a preload then that needs to be decrypted and unpacked.

ps4 harddrive is a joke. I'm constantly needing a lot more free space than the thing I want to download before it will even consider letting me download it...even when you take into consideration patches. Had to have over 100gbs free before Dishonoured 2 would install, as a recent example.
This is getting tempting. I looked forward to this game for years but refused to give money for blatant lies. The idea of it still temps me though, and it's just one of those games I'd like to say I've atleast tried at this point.
Maybe a tenner is the biting point though. Probably that price preowned soon.

The next firmware update will enable external USB 3.0 drive support for PS4. It's in beta at the moment.

ALL hard drives work like that, PC, XBox and so on
You need double the space to unpack and install and then you get half back
ALL hard drives begin to slow down as they get full
This is not a PS4 thing

Thanks for the info. I think you may have just saved me a tenner

The one big thing that attracts me to it is the very small amount of space needed to install it as my PS4 is struggling. On the other hand it seems like a lot of meandering around doing very little. When it gets below a tenner I might bite but until then....

I picked it up for the PC second hand for £9 and even then it is just not worth it.
The best thing about NMS was wandering about and looking at the scenery as the gameplay was a bit of a pointless grind after the first few hours of discovery.
Then they did a patch where you get useless freighters and bases (aka boring space farms) but they removed a lot of the resources on the world maps that means it is just an even more boring grind now as distance to basic stuffs is further.
No matter what I would not buy this new as the scammers that made it just dont deserve your cash.
