My kid has been playing a 3DS XL since he was 6, never complained about sore hands, or had bother with it. I am nearing 40 and have coped also as has my wife. I have seen other family members play 3DS without such issues to. The new Switch console will weight a bit more (not much) than a 3DS XL for the record. We rarely have our 3DS XL screens angled so that the console is stretched out and flat. Our screen angle varies from game to game to suit. The screen angle goes a long way to the overall comfort level when playing, dependant on game. Not being able to adapt the screen angle and being stuck in such a rigid viewpoint for any individual game has to reduce comfort levels.
Even my old handheld Nintendo games from 35 years ago supported optional screen angles to aid comfort. That just shows how old tech the 2DS unit is.
However as i spend more time on hukd slating the 2ds than tending to my wife's delicate needs she has now left me for a real man. my kids don't want contact either. Atleast ive got my trusty 3ds!
Heat added for the nations most eagerly anticipated deal on its favorite handheld console. And its not mainstream, this is only for niche connoisseurs of rare and indie gaming's lesser known stars like Mario.

Erm yes, but your hearing that from 2DS owners
In all seriousness a 3DS XL is the best choice, only ever an old tech, inferior 2DS unit if it is all you can afford.
Easy heat TBH just post any 2DS deal for £75 or under, and guaranteed. No shortage of such buys either. Lets not try to make sense of HUKD voting though.

Personally I prefer the 3ds over the 2ds as it's easier to hold over longer periods of time

Funny because I hear the same, just with the devices mentioned the other way around. :man:
I think 2DS if you're going to resell as it'll lose less value by virtue of the cheaper base price.

And 3DS if you need a more portable device.
