Board normally sells for this price and has lots of good features for the price. Now it comes with a free copy of For Honour and comes with a free Headset, just make sure and select that promotion.
Edit - Price in title is without cashback, making it £139.99 once redeemed :smirk:
ALSO - Price without cashback is already the cheapest available price, making it atleast £20 cheaper than anywhere else with cashback.

I'm sure this is a good deal, but all these Intel motherboards are vastly overpriced - why, because Intel charges an arm and a leg for the northbridge/chipset - having driven off Nividia etc from making compatible chipsets by legal action. They have tried to make it seem normal to pay £160 - £200 for a motherboard, which is in fact ridiculous. Hopefully AMD with Ryzen will be a true competitor and we can get back to the days of £80 fully functional motherboards.

Wccftech simply reproduced the pre order price chart.
They are by far more reliable and accurate than any source I have seen on this site,
and currently that includes YOU.
If you wish to be taken seriously, post a source and figures that dispute said prices.
.If you cannot, stop flapping your lips.
Know it all.

Wccftech are not a reliable source, they should never be quoted if you want to be taken seriously. It's obvious that buying now isn't the best idea, wait for real world benchmarks and see if there's movement in Intel's pricing, if the benchmarks and pricing are favourable to AMD.
I've already bought DDR4 RAM ready for whichever platform I choose. It's almost doubled in price since I got it. No way they'd drop the RAM pricing with this competition arising and it was already inflated for the Christmas period. So I'm quids in already.

Slightly 'leaked' pre order prices table for Ryzen chips, maybe 12 days short of release.
An i7 equivalent cpu is gonna be under £200 as stated.
If you have a denial problem here it is probably 'buyers remorse'.
Anybody buying a Z2 series mobo at this juncture must have the attention span of a frog.
And Shkapars can barely speak English. let alone Geek.Opininion worthless.

Unlikely to price close to the Intel rival when they are looking to get market share.
This is the news so far.
It is looking like an i7 ish quad core will be under £200.
Eventually.

The actual release date hasnt been set by amd, its only rumors as everything else, just another hype train.
Dont expect prices to be low either, knowing how deep in debts amd are, most likely will be in same price bracket where intels closets rivals are.

The board is pretty good and the headphones are too.
Ebuyer makes no mention of the cashback/game, but I've already received the game code, so assume cashback will work fine when MSI open up the claims form.

Just got this mb. Very good for what you get including the For Honor and the cashback. This is great for the headset to. Also MSI had taken less than a day to comeback with the For Honor code (Uplay)

I said a Z170 or Z270 motherboard which are for skylake and kaby lake only? They are the only motherboards which allow overclocking on k series CPUs for the current generation cpus as far as I know.

Why would you not wait for Ryzen? it is most likely going to be out in the next 2-3 weeks and all signs are very promising. Why would you not wait to at least see the benchmarks?
If you don't need a new rig right now you would be silly not to wait.

Clock for clock for gaming then no you are likely not going to want Ryzen. But if you need cores and threads Ryzen will get you twice as many (but probably only 50% more performance) for the same money.
Or for the more main stream a 6 core 12 thread for 4 core i5 money which I suspect if you are a game streamer will wipe the floor with the i5 in this situation.
So a 'K' SKU i5 plus a Z270 mobo or a Ryzen 5 1500 and B350 mobo for the same price?

Even compared to Z170, prices have gone up across the board by £20-40. For £100 you had a choice of Z170 boards that does everything a gamer needs plus allows for a strong 24/7 overclock. With Z270 you can't get a board for that.

With ryzen around the corner anyone considering building a new system should wait and see what the prices are as amd has promised long term future chipset support so you wont need to keep buying a new motherboard to use their latest cpu unlike intel of course.
