Games aren't the problem, it's the apps running in the background. I had my Garmin Connect watch app running in the background for smart notifications, which consumed 300MB RAM on its own and slowed the phone to a crawl at times. If I have to uninstall the apps I want just to keep the phone usable then it's a problem.

Got one of these, and can stream Deezer to the car stereo via Bluetooth, while using the phone as a sat nav with no lag. Also use it for a few games, again with no lag.

I have an original Moto G with 1gb of ram as a backup phone. I do everything but play games and it flies. Remember stock or near stock Android is very efficient.

​1gb 8gb phones should just be lower tier these days. As apps have grown bigger and consume more resources, you should go for 2gb 16gb as a minimum. Those saying how thier phone lasts for days and flies with 1gb probably only use it for calls and text.

I ended up with 2 (white) after the web crashed during the order. Purchased 21 Jan 2017. Motorola have yet to complete the return paperwork. If anyone wants one for £79.01 + your choice of P&P (or collect free from CV4 8JL) then give me a shout. You will be given the original paperwork and the phone is sealed inside the original box.

Still looking for a decent quality 2GB phone for my lady at around this price from a decent seller (i.e. not gearbest etc!). Like to keep a phone for a while and 1GB RAM just won't cut it going forward.

Looking at the Blu on Amazon at a similar price, but still sceptical... really need a stonking clearance deal from somewhere!

You could always burn it at a very high temperature, so it melts and then just pour the liquid down the drain.

That's my issue. I'm sure it would be fine for now, but I want this phone to be usable in a couple of years or so (same issue with the poor build quality of some cheap chinese phones).

Buying another one in X amount of time isn't an option for me - I'm concerned about landfill as well as my wallet!

Not everyone's requirements are the same. I'm looking to buy a cheapish phone to last me for a couple of years (current Moto G LTE is 2.5 years old). My best guess is that 1GB of RAM would quickly become a problem for me.

Just bought black one and checked just now and appears to be in stock. Excellent phone for the money. Forget about people complaining its only got 1gb of ram. This phone flies and no noticeable lag. With light use battery lasts for days and days. NFC too. Bought this to give as present. I am sure it will be appreciated. Keep posting mp1254. Hot hot for me.
I bought this phone for myself and the G4 plus for the missus about a month ago. Both are excellent phones. G4 plus 2/32gb can be brought down to £189 with codes. Possibly lower.

Less than a hundred really. Or I'll just have to bide my time!

Would rather one of the better chinese brands with 2GB than a 1GB phone. Such a shame as the rest of the phone seems brilliant for the money!
