My contract with Virgin expired so I was looking for a good deal. Virgin didn't give me any deal except fibre 50 mbs for £28 and I found this number on Carphonewarehouse Website and I called them and ask for this package. I told them that I don't have any TV supplier and They offerd me mix TV and 50mbs broadband which cost £39.99 on Virgin website.
12 months contract is £290.99
It's a bargain in my opinion for TV and reliable broadband
It's seems like this works only for a new costumers, so this is the tip. Cancel your contract. You need to wait 30 days to expire and call after this for a new one. This is what I did and some other people here. I will be doing this same thing every year from now

I was trying to get this deal but I couldn't find any info about £50 voucher in the checkout and the package in there doesn't include TV Mix + you have to pay £24.99 for installation. So I called them and got bargain!

Wish they'd sort out their upload speeds, would prefer to go back to virgin but they want over £50/m for 20mb upstream. I only pay £25 on fibre, but virgin always used to seem a more stable connection (not used them for 3 years admittedly!).

Currently getting 70mbs broadband for £26.24 each month but this seems to be better, are you sure this works on existing VM customer? since you stated a activating fee I guess this means you need to cancel you existing VM account and start a new one from Carphonewarehous?

An interesting offer but you are comparing your £23 package for Broadband and TV to the prices of a £39 package on Virgin which includes line rental of (£19) and weekend calls.
That is unless you are getting line rental including too and if so have they said it is ok to transfer your number from one virgin account to another?

Just given up with VM and cancelled. Only have the XL TV as the BB around me is highly congested and worse than useless at peak times and not worth it.
The TV had almost doubled in price in one year from £22 to £41 - phoned VM and they could/would not do anything to lower the price so have cancelled and will be going back to Sky or BT.
The point being, it seems that VM are worse than other providers for sucking you in then increasing prices steadily to ridiculous levels.

I'd imagine it's in areas where there's a large amount of people who can't get fibre. We can get it in our street, but 1 minute up the road they can't so they're all pretty much held captive by VM, unless they can tolerate less than 2.9Mbps broadband.

AVOID VIRGIN
I took out their Vivid so-called 100 Mbps Unlimited Fibre package, recently - speed tests (wired ethernet without any other downloads in background on a virus/spyware-free machine) revealed 20-30 Mbps on a daily basis, in the afternoons and evenings !!
Interestingly I get around 85 Mbps at 3.30 A.M. when nearly the whole country's fast asleep
Virgin are clearly deceiving and cheating their customers !
Avoid at all costs.

Carphonewarehouse just confirmed as long as you are willing to set up a new Virgin Media under a different name you can be treated as a new customer. So cancel current service and sign new contract through carphonewarehouse to get cheaper price, done!
I just did this because VM refused to offer any discount (was getting some loyalty discount but it expired).

Thanks! - That is useful to know. Although the Carphone Warehouse deal isn't necessarily the cheapest - The £15/month deal I am on (TV, Phone, Line Rental and 50Mbps broadband) I think is unlikely to be beaten.

Well obviously people with different situations (or even different post codes according to some comments) get different deals, it would be much helpful if you could share how you got your deal. After all there's no point of mentioning it if it's a price only you were able to get.

It is a referral only deal which I have offered to a few people. Rules on HotUKDeals forbid posting requests for or offering off such a deal, but if you know someone who has got the deal they will be able to refer you for the same deal.
The offer is:
TV with 500GB TiVo Box
50Mbps Unlimited broadband
Medium Telephone with weekend calls
Line Rental included
Free Connection/Activation
Free Equipment
12 month contract
£15/month for 12 months
