Discount is not directly advertised on the Minecraft game page but highlights when you select the game & favourites pack option. The Minecraft game is £14.99, the favourites pack is made up of £19.93 worth of extras which is a combined value of £34.92. The rrp for the game and bundle is £19.99, but it goes through at £11.99 - £3 cheaper than the game on its own!
***Update, the discount seems to only apply to people who currently own the downloaded game for the xbox360. Basically you're getting an xb-one version and the favourites pack for £11.99 - still great value. My son got a xbone for christmas and asked for Minecraft for his birthday - hate to buy it again but its still £8 cheaper than the shop for same product.***

I'd be interested to know too as I have the PC version and also the Xbox 360 hard copy which I've owned for years. Now want to purchase on Xbox One and the £11.99 is perfect but it's showing as 19.99 for me too. Do you have to own the digital version of Minecraft so Microsoft know that it's you who actually owns it?

Seems like you needed to own the 360 version to get this upgrade price. If so, the title needs amending accordingly as it is quite misleading.

Not working for me. Did you have to own the digital version on 360? We bought it on disc.

Having never tried minecraft I find myself tempted to see what I'm missing these days. Can you go around all the crazy worlds other people make on the Xbox one edition? I heard they made a complete model of gothenburg for example?

I believe that you can open another person's world - called a seed. I think its a long code. Not sure how its done though, might only be available for the pc version. Minecraft is basically like a big open world lego game where you can build or dig using different similar sized materials and textures. Its a really creative game - great for a childs imagination.

Do you own it on 360? These discounts are normally for owners of last gen version.

Yes, Youre right, but only seems to apply to the favourites bundle. Rather than re-buy Minecraft standalone at £14.99, it makes more sense to buy the bundle at £11.99
