You only need a very small amount, best apply 2 layers. This is to protect the paint, the shine comes from the previous claying/polishing stages.

I couldn't bear the muddy look on my car so my OCD forced me to clean and wax it. I think I used maybe 20mL max for an estate car and I still think I over applied (hence the difficult buffing).

I bought and tried it yesterday. Easy on but very hard to buff nicely...

Meguiars products are usually good. This sounds like a product for people who aren't really interested in getting a really shiny finish to their paint and don't want to wax or polish every few weeks. Good price reduction.
