I ordered the 25 Watt one earlier and Amazon won't let me purchase this one now as it states I have already redeemed the promotional offer.Tried contacting customer services and they said they can't re-instate the promotion if I cancel the original order. I have cancelled the order for now. Will wait till its on offer again some time soon.

Looks like the Amazon customer service guy gave me incorrect information. Once I cancelled the 25watt order, I was able to purchase the 40 watt one with the free car charger

yes they did. I cancelled the 25w one I ordered online when I found this one, but has to do it twice as the first time they only cancelled the in car charger and not the 4 port 25W mains charger
Do you think I will charge my Google Pixel faster with this charger?

I goog dunno as I googled your phone specs (no experience with this phone) and it says fast charging but does not mention anything about QC2 or QC3 (QUALCOMM quick charge). " Charging rates are based on use of the included USB Type-C™ 18W charger" it says on google website, does it give a voltage and current rating on the charger?

you have to click on the promotion message below the price and "Add both to basket". The value of the free item gets deducted as a voucher at checkout.

you have to go all the way through the checkout to get the price. cancelled the four port ad ordered this.
I'm sure they're not but this brand has been ok in the past. I wonder if the Poundland ones have been fully tested too.

Their powerbanks got very good reviews from pcadvisor and others, so probably not to be laughed at!!

Maybe not a Chinese owned company but no doubt that's where they are made (what isn't?). Having recently had a charger smoke and spark, I tend t look at the manufacturer first and the price second now, whereas it used to be the other way round.

Actually, quite a few products ain't made in China but having being in senior management for a conglomerate who made things on behalf of Sony Ericcson, Motorola, Panasonic, Pentax etc a branded or well known manufacturer ain't a guarantee that things should work the way they should. Look what happened to Samsung flagship Note 7 recently!!!

ordered this for the free car charger but now i've read some of the comments of the poor construction (although admittedly only one guy with actual experience of a problem) I'm beginning to wish I'd have stuck to my original plan of the syncwire one with 5* reviews
samseng
18 Feb 171#27
The syncwire is very good, well made, is a travel adapter which you can use for EU, US and other parts of the world and was on offer recently but it does not have QC but the 2 x 2.4A ports do charge quickly. I don't really need this or the car charger but I bought this one to try in the kitchen as my family has 2 devices with QC2 and I have only one QC2 charger in the house (Motorola G4 does not come with a QC charger)
joshtbh
18 Feb 17#28
Do you remember how much the SyncWire was on offer for? Disappointed to hear that! camelcamelcamel doesn't seem to track prices for it. I'd like to see some data on QuickCharge 1/2/3 charging times vs non QC ratified high Amp output chargers

It was on offer for about £11.99 (20% off, I think) about 2 weeks ago but I got mine for £10.49. Bought 2 to make up for free delivery as I'm not a prime member and it was a good decision as my wife now always carry one around with her, especially when she goes away on business (useful in airports with limited charging points for her tablet, own mobile and work mobile and like I said, would cover most places) and I take the other one out of the house as a dad taxi while I wait in Mcdonalds or some other café for the kids. The QC is useful as if gives 50% charge (QC2) in half hour and then it slows down to normal charge, so probably full charge of a Note 4 or Moto G4 between 1 1/2 hour to 2 hours whereas the 2.4A of the syncwire would take up to 2 1/2 hours for the Note 4. It's the QC2 50% boost charge that is useful when you are in a hurry, outside and use your mobile a lot. I read that QC3 is only slightly faster but it charges more efficiently (whatever that is suppose to mean, I have forgotten)

gone are the days when I used to have my own PA or a pool of PA at our disposal. Besides to prove the point, how many US presidents know the English language or use it properly and these are the most powerful people on earth. Also social media now has a language of its own.

Mine arrived yesterday evening and on first impression, it was nowhere as well built or as solid compared to the syncwire. I just plugged it in to test with a QC2 phone, another mobile, a tablet and an mp3 and it seems to be working fine so far

Oh the packaging for the Lumsing was far nicer than the syncwire which comes in a understated brown box

Just a quick update. Returning both items to Amazon. Mains wall charger is very poor fit into the socket and looks like the three pin joint might snap off if I force it too hard to push into the socket. The QC2 port has stopped working with the Moto G4. After 5 minutes of using the in car charger, it died altogether!!!!

Yeah, I had high hopes for the lumsing but it was not to be. Maybe that's why they are going cheap but their power banks had good review. When you get the syncwire, you would notice the difference, especially in the weight of charger, and the 2.4a ports does charge fast, but not as quick as QC2.

If you want a good dual port in car charger with QC, I am testing this one in my better 1/2 car and it seems to work reasonably well, even with her blackberry and a tablet charging together
