Found these in my local Edinburgh Co-op tonight. No idea if national but I filled my boots and left with whatever I could carry. In my defense Scotland never has a deal on booze so best to stockpile in situations like this.
Still a few bottles left there but could be worth checking the drink aisle if your in a co-op just in case.
White was £5.99 to £1.62
Red £6.99 to £1.50
Another red was £8.99 to £2.25
For types please see images I will upload thanks

I didnt think it was legal to have drink offers in Scotland in order to protect the Scots from the Scots?

It's not legal to reduce the price per bottle as a reward for bulk buying. ie The unit price has to be the same if you were buying 1 bottle or 100 bottles
That's why we don't have 3 for £10 in the shops but they can reduce the price to £3.33

Pretty sure it's all coop lines reduced as the stores are currently in the process of swapping to mccolls so they have to sell all the coop lines off before whatever date it's set to close for refurb

It's actually a good idea.
Some of the Southern supermarkets accept it e.g. ASDA and Morrisons by reducing the cost of the individual bottle (e.g. £3.34) or case (instead of 2 cases of beer for £18, they make one £9) to match the offers elsewhere. Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsburys don't.
With Aldi/Lidl is isn't an issue as they are just a good price.

There is something seriously wrong if one can't flog alcohol in Scotland without reducing the price.

List of 298 Stores
My local changes on 26 Feb. There are quite a few bargains of all kinds of stuff now (staff said anything Co-op branded will be sold off before the changeover date). Wine slightly reduced now, but discounts will get larger as the date approaches.

In what way? It's a useless piece of legislation as indicated by this deal and the others mentioned in the thread. Legislate against multi buys etc but the shops can just change the price to work out the same.
daisyb212
14 Feb 17#40
Has the minimum price legislation actually come into effect yet? I know there is a ban on offers and multi buy promotions....

15 Feb 17#41
You have entirely missed the point of it then.
It wasn't about stopping people getting cheap alcohol, it was about stopping them having to bulk buy in order to obtain that cheaper price
jcluk
15 Feb 17#42
Not at all. I understand the legislation. That's why I know it was utterly pointless and has been shown to not impact the amount of alcohol purchased.

You're welcome. For example, my local had wool/silk washing liquid for 45p (was £2.00), Cranberry juice 30p (was £1.10), Champagne £8.00 ( was £15), and lots more. They seemed to be mainly clearing the non-perishables but I imagine the fresher and frozen Co-op branded food and anything else left will be heavily discounted in the last few days. I think each store has their own date of change rather than a national date.
Opening post
Still a few bottles left there but could be worth checking the drink aisle if your in a co-op just in case.
