Saw this on the Argos website. Buy this tablet with case for £109.99. On the Argos website it has just the tablet (same model) for £129.99.
I think that's an added bonus

Looking at the Lenovo website it says Android 6 to be confirmed. Their forum says some people had an OTA update to 6 but it was unstable. Would need someone who has one to confirm.

Given that my Google Nexus 2013 was stable on lollipop and has video issues on marshmallow, I'd be happy with lollipop and wary of upgrading an older device to the new version.

Hmm, do I buy this or don't I?
Urgently need to replace an old laggy Nook HD. Yes, I'll be taking a drop in screen resolution by buying this, but would the CPU performance of these Yoga tabs be markedly better than an aging dual core OMAP 4470 with 1GB of RAM? These Yogas have Snapdragon 212 processors in them which makes me a little worried it won't be much different.

I was in a similar position with my Mum who had a Nook HD+ that's not been behaving that well, I did look at this tablet which is quicker than the old Nook but didn't feel much of an upgrade in general. In the end I opted for a Grade A Galaxy Tab S2 from Cex for £200 (now £180 although out of stock), it looked unused, all the accessories were untouched and it comes with a 24 month warranty from Cex. I realise it's technically second hand but it's a great upgrade to the Nook HD+ as it has a beautiful screen (the budget tablet screes were a step down from the Nook HD+'s 1080p screen) and quick internals so my Mum has ended up using it far more than she did the Nook.
At the moment the Android tablet market seems almost entirely budget tablets now, the Tab S2 is now being discontinued with no direct replacement.

Had endless battery/power drain, screen and software problems with my Tab 2 and zero support from Lenovo; they couldn't have cared less.
Hopefully the Tab 3 is better for anyone who considers it.

I have the 1gb version and it upgraded OTA to 6.0.1 with no problems. The kick stand makes this a great little tablet

The Yoga Tab 3 is brilliant. I can confirm it's 2Gb. I bought one almost a year ago from Argos refurb eBay site. It's got a love it or hate it built in stand on one side that is like a big hinge with a built in cylinder style battery that double as a hand grip. The battery has a great life too. With the back of the tablet having a soft touch and the built in hinge/kick stand you don't need a case for indoor use although I guess it's useful for going on your travels. The Dolby stereo sound is also really good. I found the screen to be bright and responsive although I know there are better resolution ones out there I thought it was still very sharp.

The Lenovo webstore has price at £109.99 (inclusive of a £20 saving). Android™ v5.1. Free Shipping.
Doesn't specifically mention a sleeve/case. The Argos one sells separately for £7.99 (was £19.99).
So, looks like a good deal... Hot!

There is an LTE version that takes a micro sim. Not exactly sure if LTE is true 4G, or not. This design dates from ~2015. There seem to be 3 model numbers. This is probably the wifi only version, but I could be wrong...
Hot, had 1st gen version of this device, really great battery life, fantastic for washing dishes and cooking:) just dont leave it on floor and stand on it, you might get away with flat tablets doing this but here it will crack:) Definetly will buy this again once they make a Windows 10 version.

the only negative is the screen is very sensitive with no adjust, once u get use 2 this it's all good

i have this tablet; bought from Amazon with the £10 off deal paid £100 quid for it. it is worth the money no doubt about it!
the screen is great for movies and there is an micro sd card slot, kodi works well on it, the touch lab games all work well on it and i was playing some zombie 2 game on full on graphics mode and it was fine.
i think the only down side is that it does not join 5g wifi networks????
the speakers are nice and loud and "ok google now' works well, the camera is good, the usability with the hook is great. Comic book reading can be a little hit or miss but if you have a good app then it is fine. Just tried Modern Strike in high graphics mode and it is fine also.
Do i suggest you buy it...err Yep!

Collected from Argos yesterday. Previously I had a 2013 Nexus 7, but it eventually suffered the much reported charging/battery-drain fault. I think this Yoga tab 3 is better in most every respect. After 2 OTA OS updates it now runs Marshmallow faultlessly. Wifi, Bluetooth and GPS performance is excellent. Nice clean android interface (minimal bloatware). I wanted this for a fairly specific purpose, for which the long battery life and screen quality were a big plus. The case is good (genuine Lenovo). Only one issue, I couldn't get an Integral 64GB microSDXC card to work. I also read online someone having problems with a Sandisk microSDXC. I'd be interested to know if anyone has found a microSDXC brand that works? About £1 back via Quidco, plus a £5 Quidco reward credit. Overall, well pleased...

It does have 2GB of RAM.
The photo above is of the specification sticker found on the back of the box. I picked mine up from Argos Carmarthen two days ago.
The tablet quickly updates itself to Marshmallow, so ignore the Android 5.1 Lollipop version as stated on the label.
