Found this today in two different Tesco Superstores in Belfast.
First store (Yorkgate) had it marked at £18 but no special offer label, second store had it marked as £35 (which is actually the price for the 10 yr old, not the select) but it scanned at £18.
This is the Select version, not the 10 yr old or the Quarter Cask and is currently showing as £25 on the Tesco website and the best price I can find elsewhere is Amazon where its priced at £23.50.
As an Islay Whisky its the peaty/medicinal type and while its not as heavy as its big brothers or Lagavulin or Ardbeg it is a great starter drink for someone wanting to sample the Peaty Whisky style it represents.
I'm sure this wont be reduced in all stores but if you see it then its worth getting it scanned.
I wouldn't pay their normal asking price of £33 but at £18 per bottle its bonafide.

2 bottles left in Yorkgate after I left, one out of box. Also picked up a bottle of Highland Park 12 for £16.50 which seems like a bargain. I think i got the last one though. Anyone looking in YG, the Laphroaig is on an end, bottom shelf.
(In case anyone else is searching, Laphroaig is scanning at Holywood Exchange at £25, helpful assistant explained the ranges are changing so YG are probably downsizing their stock.)

I can't be too ungrateful, about a year ago I got a bottle of Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 year old for about £20 (if I remember right), goes for around £42 on Amazon and never seen it in any Tesco since!

Once picked up a bottle of Cragganmore 12yo for £16.50 in my local, all because its box was a little creased... :innocent:

See I'd say Laphroaig is much, much more medicinal than Lagavulin. I really don't like the medicinal stuff but I love a drop of Lagavulin now and again...

Good deal, and last time, as a bonus my local don't stock the bottles in the boxes, so when I took it to the till they came back with a bottle of the ten year old. Easy mistake to make as the bottles look so similar.

Waste of money, tastes like sheep pee. 10 years old is way better! Still have half a bootle and every guest declined to drink it.

Not a fan of it myself, felt it was too peaty. But great price!

OP can you add whisky to your title for search alerts . Laphroaig Select ...mmm. I have purchased one bottle at Tesco Sherringham last year for £18. I enjoyed it not as much as the 10yo or QC but for £18 it was a good buy. A lot of people don't like Select which I can understand.

Tescos seem to have a lot of these unfeasibly good offers on whisky in select stores. It must either be incompetence or deliberate, but good luck to those that manage to get them!
