Slight inaccuracy. I believe they design the stuff and have it made in China. You know, a bit like most electronics companies in the world, including Apple? Anyone who has one of these radios will I'm sure say it is very very good value at 20 notes...

I'm not sure what you mean regarding your concerns about it not being "genuine" though...?
I have bought from the Vodafone eBay outlet in the past. On one occasions we bought two digital bed side clocks with dual alarms. After several months use my alarm "lost" the ability to display certain parts of its digits on the display. I contacted Voda and they refunded me in full with no issues.
It does surprise me when I also note Argos eBay outlet and the number of negative feedbacks that they have also had. Again I have had nothing but excellent service from them when I have need help and support or returns.
Maybe I'm just lucky but others have their own expectations and experiences etc which can be very different from my own.

AFAIAA the vodafone Ebay Outlet is actually run by the company behind Kitsound so not quite sure why they would send you a copy of their own product!
My experience over multiple orders have been very good - the only time delivery was delayed was when they reduced lots of Kitsound stuff just before Xmas and got too many orders they could handle. Still got my stuff before Xmas though.
These radios look fantastic and sound very good too. At 20 quid they are almost giving them away.

Good radio, like the looks & the sound quality isn't too bad either. One drawback is that there is an isolator switch on the rear that sits proud of the rear surface. This means you can't lay the radio flat on its back & have the speakers pointing upwards. Only minor niggle but good value for money none the less.

Rotten seller though, ordered one beginning of December, never arrived by Christmas so had to open a case to get a refund. It wan't just lost by a courier or something it was simply never dispatched.

99.4% Positive Feedback - it's not bad
I ordered a similar one last year from this company - came very quickly and I can not complain - although the radio does have to have the aerial up to receive and I don't get the best reception as I am in the country!

I bought a Blue-tooth Kitsound speaker from here about a month ago. Can't fault it, nor the service (it arrived next day and postage was free).
Also this radio is on sale for £55 at Tesco Direct so the £20 here is a very good price.

Good value yes and at £20 you cannot go wrong but they do not design all the stuff as i have a dab radio branded auna and found the same with a kitsound badge also a august and some other names i cannot remember.

Most wholesalers/manufacturers sell direct to retailers, and charge the most they can get away with. There is no long chain of wholesale/retail these days. Retailers then sell for the highest possible price. Agreed.
Occasionaly, retailers will sell stock they are trying to clear for reasonable prices. They are not in the market to try and help anyone. Most likely they will be having the last laugh anyway. Eg. high returns/fault rate, or unpopular item/style. First come first served, in this context, can hardly be called unfair. Let that fellow have 1000+ good for him.
And don't forget to factor in the 5% of society that PERSISTENTLY claim refunds for dubious claims ranging from non-receipt, damaged, faulty, etc,. Ebay sellers are always complaining about this fraud, but the buyers think it is fairplay to be dishonest, justified fraud, because the retailer is profitting from them.
I think we are agreed that nothing will change!

I have several Kitsound units throughout my home being DAB radios and bluetooth speakers. Each one well worth what I paid for them through the Vodafone store. I view none as 'junk'.

I think that you know that it wasn't about a seller being bothered or not but about allowing volume purchases, rather than restricting them, from any one person.
Some sellers on eBay, on some items, and Amazon Lightning sales do restrict individual purchases.
I can see reason for and against imposing such restrictions, but regardless of that Vodafone don't and that is their choice.
Not necessarily due to the radio coming back into stock today but there is a large number for sale now in ebay for around twice the price of what Vodafone charged, and greater.
That's life.
Anyway for those who got one, and ours is due on Wednesday, let's hope it turns out to a good one.

Try walking into a Vodafone store and buying a hundred, or even twenty of their phones in one purchase.
eBay may be a bit different but Vodafone, still give the image of being a high street retailer, not a wholesaler.
You come across as someone who bought the hundred items. I don't really give a toss because I bought two of these radios last time round but have a lot of sympathy for anyone who missed out this time round. And a high street retailer should care and listen to what their customers think, the ones that actually use the products they buy instead of just sell them on to other people.
