I love seeing the latest contribution to the 'bought v brought' debate :man:

Had one of these a good few months now and still going strong. Get a couple of charges out of it before it needs recharging. Easily worth a fiver.

I'd like to know if this works as an OTG card reader too.

1A output means it will take ages to charge your phone....

It will be slow, but for comparison purposes, it will be twice as fast as a computer which charges at 500ma (0.5A)

Feel like the recent £7.99 deal for a 10050 mAh lumsing was a better deal with a free car/wall charger and 3A output, hot though because this is £2 cheaper.

Got one before Christmas.
Very convenient to store/carry around and effective charging. Owned a few different portable chargers (Anker, Xiaomi, etc.) and this one is definitely my favourite.

Don't like the idea of a built in cable, knowing how many cables my kids tell me don't work anymore. Seems a reasonable price for the size though especially with the card reader.

never used that cable in mine - it's use is optional

How many recharges of a phone will this do? Just the one is it?

That depends on your phone battery. If your phone battery is for instance 1000ma then this should charge it 4.5 times before it also needs recharging. In the real world you would be more likely to 3 to 4 four charges assuming your battery is 1000ma. Check your battery label first or google the specification of your phone for the ma(milliamps) of your battery. Then divide 4500ma by your battery ma and you see roughly how many times this device will charge yours.

These charge plenty fast enough and will charge two items at the same time even (using the cable and the USB port). Some people are never satisfied; it could be £2 and some idiot would still come along and complain it wasn't 10000mAh and was overpriced.

That sounds like a complaint about people complaining. :stuck_out_tongue:

It was, I make no bones about it.
Things you can count on: geese pics in a thread mentioning Tesco/Sainsburys, arguments over 1GB RAM on Android phones, 1GB not being enough to run Windows tablets, laptops with HD not full HD screens and chargers/power banks only outputting 1A being worthless/too slow - among many others.

My favourite thing you can count on is people complaining about people complaining about complainers.

I'm bought into that debate but I couldn't bring myself to comment
