You miss the point. The problem is not that they kill tuna, it's that in the process of catching that tuna, they also snare loads of other creatures, including dolphins. That's what the word "indiscriminate" means.
Other tuna companies do this as well, but John West has apparently taken no measures to reduce this collateral damage. That's what you'd learn if you followed the links I provided.
Many consumers do care, and purchase other brands that are less arrogant about depleting our oceans.
