Not the same brand. This is far superior and usually much more expensive.

I went to Morrisons when someone posted here but did not find any.

You should eat these in moderation. I love this sauce but it contains lots of sugar more than salt. Excess sugar causes obesity , tooth decay, diabetes and alzimers. Excess salt only causes high blood pressure.

Good idea, I might experiment a little, see if I can knock some up. I have a feeling that my addiction to these shop bought sauces is leading to an excessive salt consumption!

As a Chinese, I have never tried it myself, always prefer to make the fresh chili sauce

Can anyone recommend an authentic kebab shop style chilli sauce? I know they differ but generally the stuff that kebab shops use tastes far better

The best ones are homemade. I would find a decent Turkish restaurant and buy some from them direct. Not hard to make with a blender though, just experiment with the ratios until you get the desired results and you can make a huge batch for very little money.

Obviously not a fan of chilli sauce, or Asian food in general.

No, this particular one isn't sweet, and your description of it is nothing like this brand.

horrible sweet chilli sauce, not spicy at all and as others have said contains a lot of sugar. The sort of gloopy mess you get served with your spring rolls. Have seen this cheaper in Tesco world food section. Avoid.

Bought this to try but not really rocking my world. It's more like a salty garlic sauce with a hint of chilli. Not really hot?

It's not supposed to be super hot, it's more of a flavoursome chili sauce. I like it because I quite like medium spice but not anything too hot.

was just about to purchase £6.34 now :disappointed:
Using a bottle that was best before Feb 2016. (I've had it for a couple of years). Still tastes ok. I'm not sure how some people can get through so much of it.

Are there any good chilli sauces that aren't loaded with sugar?
I'm sure this is great, but sugar is the second highest ingredient. Not bothered about the health side of it, I just don't want a sweet taste in my sauce.

Ordered it a few weeks ago, green screw top cap and bottle sealed inside that, expiry Aug 2018 but quite honestly this is chili sauce and would last for ages after the expiry date if allowed to. Too many people take to much notice of the expiry date on things!

if it didn't have a cap, did it not just leak everywhere?
These bottles have screw hole tops you just screw it back down to do it up and close the hole...

Shouldn't details of Add On items be inc in the title - i.e. Minimum order of £20 required or item to be ordered as Subscribe and Save (if eligible).
