Cold - Vodafone. Only one of a couple of companies I will never deal with again as long as I live. They made it so difficult when I was leaving, after I'd paid the last month and cancelled direct debit, they sent threat letters saying I owed a month. I knew I didn't, but to get them off my back, I paid it. A year later they sent me a cheque for he same amount. Idiots. It's hassle you don't need. P.S. another company I'd avoid is EDF...crazy billing system. I'd rather freeze.

Yes awesome phone. Went for this over the S7 as every phone I've ever owned with a physical home button, the home button has broken.
As these don't have one hopefully will be more reliable.

Yeah their cash back system is awful, you only have 60 days to send them them your bill and it takes almost 30 seconds to upload the PDF on their website. It's far too complicated and time consuming...

I am still using a M7 on a sim only deal. I have dropped it and it's gone swimming in water more times than I can remember and it's still going strong.. convinced its industructable! But now looking for a new one as really need a good camera phone and it's a Samsung S7 that's ticking the boxes. It's a shame because my last three phones have been a HTC and I am a bit apprehensive about switching.

The U Ultra is not the successor to the 10 as such, it's more of a phablet for the note 7 market. There will be a follow up to the 10, ie flagship specs, but it's not been revealed as of yet

I love HTC phones, but the majority of people seem to prefer Samsung's and iPhones, that unfortunately leaves HTC on the sidelines. Despite them making great quality and well made phones.
I have a feeling HTC are due to release a new phone that will replace the HTC 10 in the coming weeks, as most the manufacturers release their new flagship phones at this time of year.
This is probably why the phone is on offer, as they clear old stock, before the new phones are released.

The HTC 10 is still priced highly, I see this as more of a great deal for vodaphone customers. There's nothing near this price for ee, 3 comes a bit closer though.

They already have, HTC U Ultra. They ditched boomsound and the metal unibody. As someone who went from Desire, Sensation, One M7 to One M9 I recently got a great deal on an S7 and jumped over. If loyal fans like me are leaving they're screwed as nobody will buy their handsets! Immediate things worse about S7 - audio by speakers and good IEMs and TouchWiz is nothing on Sense. I like the S7 build but I'm having to use a case as a drop on the floor will destroy it, unlike my HTC Ones that survived many falls. Shame this wasn't around in December as I wanted a 10 but wasn't prepared to pay the price for it at the time. It was more upfront and £4pm more when it's inferior to the S7 in almost every way.

Coverage around my work and home is terrible, so I'd be lucky to use 240MB in a month, never mind 24GB!
Hot for those that can tho.

Somone somewhere has had bad experiences with every network, just as there are millions who haven't had an issue. It's the same with signal. Every network has black spots in coverage so whilst signal may be terrible to some, the majority get a great signal. Personally I have been with Vodafone over 10 years with multiple different lines without a single problem. I normally take out new contracts and cancel the old one as upgrades are usually nowhere near new deals and I wouldn't touch a Vodafone branded handset with a bargepole!

I was chased by EDF for no reason after I settled my account. I threatened about going public about this kind harrassment and all other things I could think off and demanded £100 for inconvenience caused and time wasted on phone and finally they sent £25 cheque.
