I too originally thought it would be a hard slog rewatching it all (via NowTV) due to the repetitive procedural nature of most of the cases, but once I started I quickly realised the most of the cases themselves are just filler and the real show is House and how he interacts with his colleagues and everyone else.
Really enjoyed the rewatch and so seriously considering getting this on blu-ray to watch again sometime once it's less fresh in my memory, in case it's no longer available on the streaming sites by then.

You don't need all these. Just watch 3 episodes and you've seen them all. Honestly staggered that anyone finds this dumbed-down, totally predictable episodic fodder for Yanks any good. @Diolusion - you really rank this above Narcos? Totally entitled to your opinion, of course, but I just can't even imagine a world in which House is better than Narcos. Not in terms of acting, directing, script, plot. Nothing. Oh well. Wouldn't do for us all to be the same.

it really is subjective I suppose...but Tennant got panned for his accent in Gracepoint. Although he had a pretty decent Estuary accent in Dr. Who, so agree on that.

House was a great series but, boy, was it very nearly tainted by that terrible final season. To lose one of the main characters, which IIRC was unexplained, was bad but to then introduce the worst actress in the entire history of TV/Cinema was almost unforgivable. Fortunately the rest of the great cast was able to negate her.

Honestly a very good series, friends like it, i like it, great critic scores, i wouldve said sign up to netflix to watch the series, but netflix cancelled it as of 2017 :disappointed:

Strange I think it's the other way around. Tennant I find is rather good at accents, Andrew Lincoln seems to be forcing it too much. Gary Oldman is the best though in my opinion.

A perfect example of each to his own:
Personally I have a theory that Hugh Laurie sold his soul to the devil. First he has amazing success on this TV show with one of the oddest accents and weird performances imaginable, and then he has huge success with his third rate rip offs of black American music.
Clearly many will not agree!!

I think that might be it. When I started watching House I found it really jarring because I knew him best from those roles (and his great Fry & Laurie stuff). But I got used to it in the end.

Dunno, his accent just seems a little odd and stilted. Maybe it helps if you hadn't seen him in Blackadder or Jeeves and Wooster beforehand.
Was voted 4th worst American accent in a Radio Times poll back in 2008, so not just me.
Not a reflection of the show necessearily, but Hugh Laurie's American accent is terrible. Some Brits can do them - like Andrew Lincoln in The Walking Dead - and some can't. David Tennant in the US remake of Broadchurch was even worse!
