Ugh, I despair at times on these forums. Who do so many people come into threads they have no interest in?! I don't like story-orientated games.....but i'll go and post a couple of comments regarding one! It's same across a number of themes....coffee machines, cars, etc. If the deal isn't for you and there's some sort of constructive criticism (even better, based on experience of said product) you can offer then that's grand, please post. Otherwise, just leave these threads be. It's exhausting reading some threads on here......

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand you just lost all credibility.

Its good. Few good hours in gets a bit repetitive. Graphics gorgeous. The combat is stealthy but can get stale. Problem is eversince witcher 3 every rpg has ripped off its winning formula. Its a good game and as a fully packaged game it is innovative but it just takes too many stuff from witcher and others that make it quite boring once the novelty wears off. - just my opinion

Is this game worth buying? In two minds at the moment

I phoned smyths and said it was dispatched 2 days ago but because of the fact that it's standard delivery there is little they can do.. Wish I went with click and collect

post arrived and still no game for me :disappointed: Smyths said my order was dispatched from their warehouse on Monday and to allow 2-4 working days for delivery!

15gb base install + patch so stick the disc asap leave for 20 mins to do its thing before you can play.
Sadly only had time to do intro and some tutorial stuff before getting myself back to work :disappointed: Very pretty as I'm sure most have already seen, coming from a mainly PC gamer.

​It turns out that our local store didn't process click-and-collect orders yet, for some reason.
So, yes, I did stumble onto the worst way to pre-order.
Helpful person in the store let me buy a copy with the £5 discount and (on that person's advice) I'll let the pre-order lapse.

I ordered for collection from store (because I'm out and about today and will be driving past it) but I've not had the email that they say you must have in order to collect. I've had the DLC email (last night) but not the collect email. Store opens in just over 90 minutes, does anyone know when such an email gets sent out? In time for opening or when they can be bothered?

yes spoke to them and they say 2-4 working days. its with royal mail on standard delivery and they don't provide tracking info.

​Well then if you're not interested in games with a heavy weighting of story don't go on forums trying to **** it off, if it's not your thing leave it alone and don't try and put people off a great game. The Last of Us has one of the best stories in a game (my personal favourite ever) and even that is probably more linear than Uncharted 4.

I dont play games for stories. I play games for fun and good gameplay which is something most Sony exclusives especially Uncharted games dont have. It says alot that the last Sony exclusive I bought was The Last Of Us remastered back in 2014 and the only Sony exclusive I'm buying and looking forward to this year is the Crash Bandicoot collection because it has fun gameplay.

The UC games are full of gameplay and great storytelling, and the "straight line" you are referring to is very much planned as it's technically a platformer. Let me guess, you've sunk 300+ hours into GTA whilst missing out on multiple great games because you don't like entire genres? Or just because you don't have the brain capacity to understand something completely story related, Mr Peanutforbrains?

I bought a PS4 because it was simply the best console available and I've always had PS consoles since the PS2. Is anyone else concerned at the distinct lack of news, gameplay etc regarding this game? The trailers looked impressive.....but everything has gone quiet prior to release. I hope I'm wrong.

Risky dropping nearly 40 notes on this based on trailers, with no reviews etc. I'll pass until the reviews come thanks.

They are rated high for their graphics. Gameplay is average so don't expect a new Killzone game ever as the franchise is as good as dead.

lol people comparing Zelda to Horizon. If you're looking forward to the game fair enough but let's be honest it looks two full generations out of date and has childish cartoony anime graphics with zero detail on either characters or anything around them. Shockingly bad graphics for a game released in 2017, only Nintendo can ever get away with this **** on their horrible junk hardware. Shame on them.

Horizon looks amazing but I can't bring myself to press the button on it, too similar to standard Ubisoft random pointless activities **** from the trailers I've seen. I'll wait for reviews.

Actually no, Sony literally just shut the company that made Killzone Mercs a few weeks ago and Killzone 2 was garbage as well. It just looks good when you compare it to Killzone Shadow Fall.

As for this or Zelda, I'm doing it the other way round. Battering through this before Zelda so I can sell it and recoup some of the cost. Saving Zelda as I imagine I'll be spending a fair while with it.

Yeah..visually Horizon definitely looks more impressive, although photo-realistic graphics are never a Nintendo thing so there's no surprise here... I truly hope Guerrilla Games can deliver a great open-world experience this time, Killzone Shadowfall was fine but the story was very weak.

Looking forward to playing HZD and the trailer looks amazing.

The new Zelda game will probably keep me busy in March though so will buy this later and hopefully the price will have come down a bit.
