@1Ton1981 I fully understand your frustration, but to be honest I wouldn't bother sending the game back for the sake of the art cards - yes they are a nice bonus, but they aren't worth missing out on what is so far an amazing game (I'm only about 2hrs in).
@nightboat since 1Ton1981 has managed to get a DLC code, if you don't receive a code from shopto, you can have mine.

Thanks for the very generous offer hexen but ShopTo finally got the DLC code sent over to me this evening.
I've given up on getting the cards as I couldn't resist starting the game and I'm so glad I did! 6 hours solid play and I'm totally blown away by it! Only pulled myself away from it as I'm in work early tomorrow/today.

I'm in the same situation as few other people here, pre-ordered an exclusive launch edition, instead they've sent me a standard one without any cards. Never received a DLC code by email either.
I sent an email to them this afternoon complaining but no reply yet. Pretty disappointed, I know it's just some cards and few in-game items that don't really matter but still would have been nice receiving them. Least they could have done was to let us know before accepting payments for what we thought was launch edition.
Btw loving the game so far, it's really good.

Pretty **** off. My game hasn't arrived. I know it's not Shopto's fault, because they shipped it on Monday. Royal Mail are the problem.

ShopTo has sent me the following message:
"Hi Errol,
Unfortunately as this was order after the offer had ended we are unable to compensate for this, we apologise for this issue.
Regards
Tris"
Now ShopTo are just flat out lying. I preordered the Exclusive Launch Day Edition and I have the email to prove it. Like I said in a previous post, if they could not fulfill some of the Exclusive Launch Day Edition preorders why did they not inform the customer of this? And why do they have the the Exclusive Launch Day Edition still listed on eBay as in stock? Why not take the eBay listing down? I've decided to keep the game as sending it back to ShopTo will mean I'll have to pay for recorded delivery.
Tomorrow I'll be leaving a review about my experience with ShopTo on TrustPilot. I will never order from ShopTo again and will closing my account I have with them. I find ShopTo to be incompetent, dishonest and unprofessional.

I'm in the process of Emailing them now. Exact same scernairio even though my pre order confirmation email clearly states Horizon Zero Dawn Exclusive Launch Edition.
I still haven't even received my DLC code which just takes the Pee!
Good luck with the pursuit.

Ok, here is the reply I received back from ShopTo.
"Hi Errol,
I have checked your order and unfortunately you missed the offer for the cards, very sorry".
I replied back with the following message:
"How can I miss the offer when I preordered the game? Why did ShopTo not inform me off this before processing my order and taking payment? How come you have the Exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn Edition still listed on eBay as in stock? The Cards are selling on eBay for at least £5.99 and upwards. I feel cheated. What sort of reimbursement can you offer me? How about £5.00 off my next purchase? I'll be sending the game back to you if no sort of reimbursement is offered from you."

I received the game in the mail today and it came with no art cards. I just informed them about this and I'm waiting for a reply. If they could mail me the 5 art cards or offer me some type of reimbursement that will be great. If not I'll be sending the game back out of principle.
As for the DLC code, I emailed ShopTo yesterday about not receiving the DLC code and they messaged me a DLC code today.

I have the exact same screnario as you 1Ton. Showing standard game issued and as of 9am I am yet to receive my DLC codes. Have you had any better luck?

Thanks for answering my question. ShopTo shipped my pre-order for Horizon Zero Dawn this morning so I should get the game tomorrow. Hopefully the game comes with the 5 art cards. Also, ShopTo has not sent me an email with the DLC code. Maybe later on today or tomorrow they will. If not, I'll have to return my order.

It says "Horizon Zero Dawn Exclusive Launch Edition" and "Horizon Zero Dawn Pre-Order DLC"
I didn't realise it was a special launch edition, I just wanted the cheapest version they had.

I pre-ordered the Exclusive Launch Day Edition from ShopTo.net. If ShopTo sends me just the game with no art cards, then I'll be returning my order.

Got my standard edition through the post 10 mins ago. It came with 5 x free art cards and they also emailed me a DLC code for something (no idea what it is as I don't usually bother with DLC). Very pleased with shopto's service

In your ShopTo account, on your order page, does the title of your order show up as "Horizon Zero Dawn" or does it show up as "Exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn Launch Edition"?
1Ton1981
27 Feb 17#41
I pre-ordered the "Exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn Launch Edition" from ShopTo.net. I noticed ShopTo.net has processed my pre-order and taken payment, but on my order page, the title of my order is showing up as "Horizon Zero Dawn" instead of "Exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn Launch Edition".

it seems they have run out of the launch day edition and they have now increased price to 42.85

No Man's Sky had pretty average/poor reviews across the board. If you buy a game based on one review, that's kind of your fault. Horizon has very good reviews across the board. You can disagree with pre ordering, but I think you're pretty safe with this one.

I've never pre ordered a game before...to pre order or not to pre order? I'm worried that the price will go up to like £45 for a good couple of months if the game is actually amazing like the reviews say. Decisions decisions.

Good PlayStation exclusives tend to hold their value. From next week you will be unlikely to find this at a decent price until around the end of March at the earliest going by past experience.

I have been one of those people but with a brand new console game below 40 quid, there is literally no risk.
A brand new Steam game at £30-35 from CDKeys is a different story but then that serves people right for paying £30 for a PC game anyway.
Thebobwil
20 Feb 17#24
Ask that to the people who pre-ordered any garbage game and got burnt

20 Feb 17#23
Why? Pre-orders are often cheaper than the game is during the first few weeks of release.

switch is coming out the same week and funds are not great at the minuet to be buying tons of games which I may not get round to them, I'm sticking to my new years resolution, once I complete a game i'll buy a new one . incentive to finish and then I wont waste cash or feel the need to trade in to get a new title. my trading in days are done time to build a little collection this time.
