Head and Shoulders will cause long term damage. There are lots of better dandruff control shampoos about.

T/Gel or Alpecin. Cheaper brands are Elvive or Vosene.

Take the internet with a pinch of salt !

Over time it will thin the hair and lead to earlier then normal hair loss & then possible baldness. You may not notice the thinning due to the progressive but slow process, however try some thickening shampoo for a month and you'll realise what your hair was once like before using H&S. It will also take thin layers off your scalp.

Of course you may choose not to believe any of this. In which case go ahead and use H&S, it's your head, so it's up to you what you want to subject it too.
