I assume they're getting Halo Wars and Halo: Spartan Assault mixed up, as the first Halo Wars was the most successful console RTS to date and not free-to-play. It was also never previously released on PC, only now being available as the DE edition with HW2

I really enjoyed the beta back in June on the Xbox. The beta last month though for Blitz Mode I didn't like. I think I'll wait for another price drop but this is very cheap for Digital which is Xbox Anywhere.

Im hopeful for halo wars 2 - the creative assembly hasn't let me down with their total war series, they couldn't possibly mess this up.....

are you for real? every single release has a been a complete mess apart from the warhammer one from the last few games!

warhammer runs amazing but obv they have to please games work shop if they wanna continue to use their stuff

i want this to be great and CA will get help from relic who are working on dawn of war 3 so it could end up well but i just think since its released for console too it will be crap.

Look at supreme commander 2 they moved it to focus around console and it was crap compared to 1

Yes, took about 7 days for me to get my Halo wars 1 key, but I'm playing it, and it looks good on PC

Yeah sadly that's the issue with CDKeys, you're gambling on whether or not the price is the cheapest at time of purchase. They fluctuate heavily. From what my friends told me you have to wait for the Halo Definitive Edition regardless though. Or at least if you want to play it on windows!

You're a life saver. Been on the lookout for the ultimate edition and was almost going to stump up the £65 for it :laughing: I mean with Wuaki credit its not quite as bad but much easier to pay outright for it.

I'm not sure, I bought my key from CD Keys, so I can't see ms being that interested though, as they sell theirs for £65.

I have saved a fortune over the years with CD KEYS so one blip is annoying, but not something I'll get myself stressed over :smiley:

Great price, I paid 59 about a week ago! Gutted! Halo wars 1 DE, worth noting that you have to wait for MS to send you that code, once you register the ultimate edition to your account

It's changes every 2nd use. Just go to their FB page, it'll be easier. Has to be done on a computer now though.

Ye enjoyed the closed beta but I just got bored on the open beta. Doesn't help that it's always causing my PC to crash as well.
