Ouch. For a game that got great reviews that's very puzzling. It's not as if there isn't a market for this type of game.

Picked this up today from GAME in-store and it's brilliant. I loved the original from the beginning to it's completion, but there were too many other games released around this game's original release date for me to even have time to play it. I'm glad I waited now as I have it cheaper and have time to enjoy it!

In its first week it was 16th in the UK charts despite being one of only two releases that week (the other being Dragon Quest 8 on 3DS which outsold it).
In the second week on sale it wasn't in the top 40 at all, or in the top 20 best-selling PS4 games that week.

Eh? Am I missing something? When I go to it the price is £59.63??

GAME have sold out online, so you're seeing the price from a third party seller. All local stores in Manchester were showing as having stock, with the price as £29.99 when I posted earlier, and still do..

It did? Bummer. It's such an interesting IP, probably won't get another one now unless a considerable number of people were also waiting for it to drop in price/clearing their backlog first.

On the off chance people are serious about this being a price error, just remember they honored 9.99 copies of the mafia 3 deluxe edition price snafoo

Purchased instore 1.10pm for £29.99. That is the price on the system.

Like where? All other places are 40-50. I can't find any store with stock selling at 29.99

Why the hell is every seller at GAME selling stuff double the price or more? who actually buy then?

Please let the year end be quieter for games

Yep, agreed - back to the main listing being a third-party seller. It's still available at many stores, though, for the same £29.99.

Yes it is interesting that a lot of PS4 exclusives came after "the holiday season". Guess Sony/Third parties have the confidence to release games all the year round rather than just near the xmas period.53 million consoles sold must be the key to it!

Niche games=high prices, seems normal for this generation.Guess patience is the key!

Yeah, I'm waiting on this too as I just don't need it right now - I have more than enough to keep me occupied until Wednesday, at which point Horizon lands, then all of two days until Zelda.
How did two of the games that will likely be among my very highest-rated for the year manage to end up so close together, when it's not even the typical year-end time yet...?

Actually they started quite a few of the price reductions, battleborn, steins gate zero, hitman steelbook, star ocean integrity and faithlesness etc

24 Feb 17#12
That makes sense but it's unlike Game to be a pioneer in reducing prices.

The game sold really, really badly - they're probably just trying to clear stock. Considering all the PS4 games releasing in March they probably want to sell some copies before then.

Not necessarily, sometimes games just decrease suddenly in price like this.
