Just seen you can get flights from the 9th of March to the 13th of March for £78 return flying out of Stansted. Flight is empty too

They break up on the 16th? and the 27th is an INSET day. I've been a teacher for over 20 years, and this is the strangest, bizarest, craziest half term ever.

Yep ours break up 16th back 28th inset day 27th these dates are fine for us! Just not Gran Canaria :smile:

How is this a deal? Few, if any, schools in the country will be off during those dates. This website gets crazier by the day. :confused:

i am waiting till kids go back and if i get fined that is fine because i am not paying over £2000 for a £800 holiday .

makes sense 800 plus 120 per child. if they really cared about the child's education being disrupted they would use the money towards the child's edu4which they don't it's just a mother silly fine.

I couldn't agree more.
2 of us go to Tenerife in March for 5 days, flights going were cheaper than a train ticket to London (£28.99 each after cashback) Flights coming back were cheaper than bus fare (£3.99 each after cashback). Cost of accommodation through the roof but I managed to find a nice 3* apartments costing around £50 a room per night. Had to snap it up!
