If you miss out on this, you could get the Graco Mirage Zig Zag on Amazon (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Graco-Mirage-Plus-Travel-System/dp/B00EWLCTZW/) or at Smyths (https://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/baby/c-813/travel-systems/p-5681/graco-mirage-travel-system-zig-zag/) for £80. Almost the same system but with 4 wheels in the front instead of two. And I think it's a bit lighter than this one. Plus it's a dark grey so won't get dirty as easily.

It doesn't give an age, it gives a maximum weight of 16kg.

You don't have to purchase a Isofix base as you can just install the seat in the car with the car seat belt. There are benefits to having an ISOFIX base though, some are below:
1. If your car has Isofix points, it is the best and most secure way to install a car seat. It is less prone to user errors installing the seat and also the car seat is less likely to move inside the car when you use Isofix points. This is backed up by law changes that will come in force to encourage Isofix over belt installation.
2. It is much easier and faster to install the seat in a car seat base click in, click out vs messing about with seatbelts.
