£9.50 - £1 credit = £9.50 as the credit is same as cash
£9.50 - £1 voucher = £8.50 as it is just a voucher, presumably can't be used on anything from amazon.
I have over £200 credit on my amazon account, if I buy something for £200 I wouldn't say I got it free, but if I had a 50% off voucher I would say I paid £100 for it.
