The Best price I have seen for the DELUXE version of Ghost Recon Wildlands on the PC. Same price if not cheaper than the Standard Version.

sub £10 purchase for me. It felt like the just cause 3 without the fun bits. Good price for those that cannot wait.

Yeah, I assumed as much. Still not consistent though, as my friends with lesser i5 variants and lesser GPUs still could get better frames. Probably some conflict from something mundane (as I said elsewhere, some people reported disconnecting a xbox 360 controller helped).

Runs like crap on my I5/1070/16GB setup. Everything in Ultra, had to cap the FPS to 40/50 for smooth gameplay. My rig should have decimated it at 1080p/60fps. Google 'Wildlands CPU usage' and see how many people have been complaining. Beautiful game, great fun to play with friends (pretty much GTA: Bolivia) with military vehicles. Regardless, will probably wait until the price drops a few months after release.

I have the same i5 1070 16Gb and the beta ran at 60 fps minimum, very smooth at 1440p. Had everything on ultra but turned AA down to fxaa

friend had this issue - said that limiting the framerate to 60 in the game options fixed this.
really fun just trolling friends in coop, but in SP the AI is shockingly bad - your teammates just walk straight into LOS and set the whole base off while you're being all stealthy-ninja...

It really must be a CPU bottleneck then. I only have a 1060 6gb, but an i7 5820k oc'd to 4.6Ghz. I capped it to 60hz and it was buttery smooth on ultra 1080p.
As for the people mentioning the fact it is was in a BETA.. by the time the open BETA came round, the physical copies were already pressed and probably being put on the back of trucks. No doubt there will be a day 1 patch.
Personally I wont be picking this up until it hits £15-£20. Too repetitive for me.

All of u crying. Play the game on extreme difficulty and turn off hud and then tell me how clunky AI is

No worries, I was confused cause I agree. An open beta is effectively a global demo, and occasionally a server stress test (which Ubi would frequently fail).

What are you on about?? it is a BETA, so it will have bugs. So what if this is after the physical disks have shipped, tell me which game nowadays ships and doesn't get updates almost straight away?. No one ships perfect final code anymore.

I don't know how you managed to attribute the above quote to me, but I never said it!

Its a crying shame that in 2017 such garbage is passed off as a AAA title. I played the Beta for a day and oh my was it a Potboiler in every respect. The franchise has sunk to an alltime low....FPS has had its day (RIP).

You obviously don't know what an 'open beta' is for.
Hint: it's not for identifying major code issues after the physical disks have shipped.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier was one of the best shooters I think I have ever played.
I've been hyping over this release for ages, from the moment I heard it was coming out but right now, I cant help but feel a little underwhelmed.
Didn't play the beta, but online comments, and YouTube vids have got me concerned...

Dude, its out in 2 weeks... there is so much to fix that is unacceptable this close to launch. The AI in this game is some of the absolute worst ive seen in a big budget title. That is a core principle of the open world game, it wont be fixed for months (if at all)

i am aware of what a beta is but if you think that all them bugs will be fix in 6 days your only kidding your self

aww, shame - I just brought it up as I know it solved his issue with [email protected]% with bad framerates - he got a stable 60 after doing it
tbh I think this is the best course of action for any game these days! not that it stops me sometimes if friends also pick it up day one, even though I know it should!

Unfortunately this didn't work for me. I had to limit to 50 fps to get some moderate stability (it would occassionally dip into the 40's for a brief second).
Some fixes that worked according to online sources:
- disable v-sync and cap FPS to 60 in nvidia control panel
- Unplug controller (WTH should that matter? Just Ubisoft things).
- Turn shadows done to very high (everything else can be ultra apparently)
- Modify config file.
IMO, it was a beta, so I can't expect perfect optimisation, I just hope it is good for launch. If so, I will grab it. Otherwise I will wait for a few patches and a driver update or two before sinking money into it.

As I say, read up on the internet for high cpu usage problems. For whatever reason it ran like trash for some people, whereas other (i.e. old sandybridge i5/970/8gb ram) setups ran it perfectly. No rhyme or reason=poor optimisation=I wonder what other bugs will emerge at launch.
By no means am I voting this cold, this is hot, the game is good, but for people who have shelled out big money for a decent gaming rig, this may not run perfectly for you as would be expected.

A repetitive game with clunky vehicle controls and shockingly bad enemy and friendly AI.

These are exactly my gripes, it's not unplayable, but it's certainly not a day one must have.

I played the Beta and it was surprisingly quite on the servers, bit repetitive but I'm sure it will get better on launch but I had a 2 day fix on it so im ok until it gets cheaper

Played through the PS4 beta and really enjoyed it, but not sure there's enough content to warrant the present price tags, it reminds me of the 2008 'Mercenaries 2' game, will still get it but not until the £20-25 mark.

Good price but Deluxe Version gives you a few cosmetic ad-dons oh and a different motorbike. What a ripoff to call this Deluxe. Gave heat though
