Hi Everyone. Tonight I am posting about this double duvet set for £1.99. Okay it's not going to be to everyone's taste. BUT Halfcost should have removed the free delivery when you spend £5 offer today and instead put a new offer on of OVER 300 ITEMS REDUCED but free delivery still works with the reductions!! So just add £5 worth of goods to the basket and you can get free delivery. I am going to order a couple of these sets as small gifts to my mum and sister as they like floral bedding. 161 in stock at the moment. Hoping this post helps someone. :-)

I think they have corrected the postage thing now, so getting charged would be right. Sorry.

It's very soft and your duvet DOES move about in it but I have duvet clips on each corner to stop this (on all my duvet covers)

I have got one of these peach feel microfibre sets from halfcost in a different design and its much better than other polycotton ones I've paid a lot more for. In fact I might order this.

i got this set for a fiver- thought it was a bargain... it lasted 2 nights- then off.. didnt use it again.. eventually gave it to my dogs.. its a shiny/waxy duvet cover that slips away from your duvet so by midnight my whole duvet was scrunched at the bottom of the cover.. would be good for someone starting out.. was just not great for my sanity!

oh well if they are that bad i'll use them to cover the parrots they go through so many, they keep shredding them!

Someone just starting out would be better off with an easy use entry level duvet cover. Such a bottom scruncher as this would better suit a seasoned professional who has the experience to handle such situations. As a rule of thumb, I would say, if you can't neatly fold a fitted sheet or iron a pleated valence, just jog on, this is not for you.
