Not sure about the maths: 4 x 5 T shirts for £30. £1.50 each isn't it?

Cotton is widely recycled - usually into cleaning cloths. Therefore djbenny1 is making the world a cleaner place and should be commended. You, on the other hand, with your reluctance to donate your t shirts to the world of cleaning, are selfish, and you should be ashamed of yourself.

I always thought this brand shirts are always fine quality.
Bought mixed colour pack before ,for my son while ago on offer.
It is cheap and it is a cotton top but it doesn't wash well, they seems to loose the shape even thought washed and ironed with care. White ones despite being always washed with vanish are not bright white.... Would not buy again

very eco friendly of you... such way of living just generates even more rubbish. I rather pay more, for better quality which lasts longer.

Yes I can back this up.
Bought some a couple of years ago in Medium (I'm 38" chest). Although they're good quality in other respects, they shrank to a Small (34"-36") after a couple of 40degC washes.
I now know to buy Large rather than Medium

This is the most dumbest comment I've seen for a while... Stop smoking pot or whatever you are taking...
He used expression "to throw them out", not "to recycle" - can you spot a difference? If you intended to make a funny comment, it clearly wasn't ...
I don't want to engage in a trolling debate with you. But just so you know, even in the business I'm running, I've chosen to use fully recyclable, reusable but 30-40% more expensive packaging for our products. I know there will always be people who won't care about environment, especially if they can save a few quid..

Lots of comments saying these shrink in the washer, how about on a cold wash is it the same outcome? Also how do these hold up in a tumble dryer?
Thanks

Is it just me that thinks there's something wrong when clothes can be sold this cheap and someone is still profiting? How much can they have paid the workers to pick the cotton, spin the cotton and make the t-shirts.
I'm not saying you should miss out on a bargain. In fact buying them will help keep the seriously underpaid workers in jobs. However I feel that the exploitation of poor countries and people for the benefit of the wealthier should stop.

All the big retailers pay less than this per tshirt but have higher margins. Much of the process is automated - China is reducing workers from many manufacturing plants by using machines/robots.
I'm not sure if you can buy ethical tshirts these days - there's not enough demand to make it worthwhile to produce them.

bought "Fruit of the Loom" from ebay / Amazon on 3 occasions.
received all fakes, about 75% polyester - by feel and generally poor quality.
2 sellers promptly accepted return/refund, 3rd was harder so had to paypal claim it.
After lengthy email conversation with Fruit of the Loom UK, they admitted that "it is possible that some products may be from not authorised sources". They refused to take a sample of the fake product from me and they did not want sellers addresses etc. They can't be bothered. I reported to Trading Standards and again nothing happened. The sellers are located in China, only using UK warehouses.
Good luck with "cheap" Fruit of the Loom ! ;-)

Not sure about these ones but I bought cheap Fruit of The Loom T-Shirts off Amazon and the quality was poor, they went all shapeless and bobbled up after the first wash, they are now polishing cloths. If these are the same ones then you are getting what you pay for and disposable clothing.

I purchased some of these a month ago. They fit well, I have a 44 inch chest and purchased the X-Large,they are nice and long too. They seem to wash well and don't shrink, I generally use the washing machine at 40°.
I would happily buy again

Groupon doing them £9.99 for 5 pick your colours hubbys just arrived in two days or you can get ten pack
supermann
28 Feb 17#39
If the description on Groupon is anything to go by, these are not 100% Cotton T-Shirts like this eBay listing suggests.
It may only be 1-3% but it's still not 100% cotton.
They don't look 'heavy' at all either. I suspect the 'heavy' claim is just reference to the fact they are mostly cotton.
To find out just how 'cotton' they are, try boiling one of them and seeing how much it shrinks.
