I know it's a lazy git's way of cooking onions but I couldn't resist this - 10p a 750g pack in my local Sainsburys (Sheringham) not sure if national or just local - mmmm the smell of fried onions ......

cant believe this actually exists but have some heat

Hot because it's cheaper than buying an onion and chopping it.
However, I still think a little bit of me would die inside if I got to the stage in life that I bought pre-chopped onions.

I would say 'how hard is it to chop an onion' but at that price who needs to :stuck_out_tongue:

I always chop onions and freeze them as I always buy the discounted ones, and I use a lot of onions in various recipes and my cheese and onion sandwiches, pasties and rissoles, just love cheese and onion.

Heat given .
For the Judgemental people out there some people don't chop their own because they have a disability and can't .
Could also be people don't have storage space but have a freezer , like myself .
Also, they are fresher than supposed fresh onions as they are frozen with hours of being picked.

Buy some ready-grated cheese, sliced bread and make a cheese and onion toastie to cheer yourself up. Use a sandwich maker, of course. Faffing about with the grill - what am I - Jamie Olivers!
