For any Game of Thrones fans that are sitting through all the previous seasons like I am, anxiously waiting for the next series this is an amazing trip that lets you self-explore the filming locations from the Iron Islands, the wintery North and North of the wall in Wildling country and Kings Landing, as well as Qarth. This means you'll visit Dubrovnik, Belfast and Iceland in one epic trip.
This trip is based on 12th to 22nd April - 10 days over Easter and I've included car hire in in each location so you are free to explore. Of course, GoT locations isn't the only reason to visit, there is lots more to see and do in each place!
12-16th April
Flying from Gatwick to Dubrovnik you'll say in the lovely Guest House Daniele. This is right near the sea, but close to public transport options if you don't want to drive. It has fabulous reviews on Tripadvisor and other sites and is a great bargain. Visit 'Kings Landing' and the city of Qarth, the old streets of Dubrovnik are also good to spot where the gold cloaks roamed looking for King Roberts illegitimate sons and where Cersei did her walk of shame. Blackwater Bay can also be seen in the old town area too. You'll have a car so you can head further afield if you wish.
16-19th April
You'll fly to Belfast and stay at the All Seasons Guest House. Again this has great reviews and is just on the outskirts of the city. Take a trip along the coast to visit the Iron Islands and the dark hedges. You could even stay over around the costal area if you didn't want to base yourself in Belfast. Don't forget of course the many other sights of Belfast as it's a wonderful city too.
19th-22nd April
Flying to Iceland you'll spend 3 nights in the Arctic Comfort. Visit Thingvellir where Ned beheaded the deserter, and even the cave where Jon Snow and Ygritte got passionate! Walking or hiking in Vatnajokull National Park will bring out the wildling in you and this is where many of the scenes from North of the Wall were filmed.
**Trip is based on 2 sharing and you may want to consider a company such as insurance4carhire to provide additional car insurance excess**

I've never seen ones that visit multiple locations either just day trips from Belfast etc. It's quite easy to put together it's just finding the cheap flights.

Heat for the effort. I'm surprised a company hasn't bundled this already...

Nice thought! And a good variety of completely different destinations - shows off Europe's diversity!
All good I know....but do we get to meet and greet with Jon Snow and have lunch with the White Walkers...well

If anyone is looking for guided tours I can thorough recommend http://www.gameofthronestours.com/. They're hosted by extras from the show & the stories they tell are great! The costumes & swords were pretty awesome too. Best part of our Ireland holiday.

I'd be all over this if you could just bundle it all together as one transaction!

Great deal, if we weren't moving house in March I would of looked into booking this. Have some heat just for getting it posted before your phone ran out of battery :smirk:

you know what i mean right!! thinking about it, i am probably more likely to be able to go though to be fair. walking, outside, travelling and nostalgia, that will just make my OH totally uninterested.. haha we should have a HUKD pool for unfortunate fans that are otherwise on their own!

I got married in Iceland and our ceremony had vows with a Game of Thrones theme..... But then I did also drag my OH on a Lord of the Rings tour in NZ where everyone was speaking Elvish and my OH was like "what's a hobbit?"
I'm sure you can find some fellow HUKers to join you....
