If you are after a bargain break then check out this deal to Sunny Beach. Leaving on 25/04 and returning 02/05 (which includes the May bank holiday) flights are with Wizzair and only include small luggage. If you get Wizzair discount through the club you can get prices cheaper.
The apartment is the Sun City Hotel and I thought for the bargain price it would be w full, but it has much better reviews and ratings than more expensive hotels.
Sadly, sunny beach is a magnet for the Neanderthals and their beer-bellied tattooed wives, where parents don't see anything wrong with effing this and effing that in front of their own children. I was on a plane full of similar types going to sunny beach, and the cabin crew said it was normal for that route.
Bulgarians avoid the place unless to work, or to see first hand if foreigners really do behave like they are portrayed on television documentaries.
If you don't mind any of that, it's a useful base to get out and about along the coast under your own steam, as the area shouldn't be packed at that time of year - actually, it's possible some stuff will not be fully open, as the holiday season won't really have started.
There could easily be restaurants etc not open yet, but as Burgas is a working city, there will be enough to do there, or at other small resorts along the coast.

Great proce for a holiday, sunny beach is a clubbing type holiday isnt it?

I think that it does appeal to those wanting a more lively holiday as there seems to be lots of bars and clubs, water parks etc. The hotel is close to the beach too.

..Russians behave much better than many EU visitors. Me and my wife were first time in 2008, Germans, Scandinavians and many English speakers were acting like they came to jungle and not considering anyone else.

I've never been to Sunny Beach either but I guess it's expectations versus price. I guess you could always head out and about and not have to stay within the area itself.

Been to sunny beach few years back and had a really good holiday. Yes it's full of Dutch, Germans and Russians but I guess it beats going somewhere where it's full of brits. It's actually a very cool place and is safe contrary to what others may say. Weather is decent, the place is dirt cheap, resort is on the beach and good nightlife what more can you ask for? It is what it is not everyones cup of tea but defo not as bad as what many portray it as.

Go to Albena, a bit further north along the coast. Www.hotukdeals.com.balkanholidays.co.uk
Balkanholidays.co.uk do good late deals on their website and price includes transfers and 20 kgs luggage. I saw all inclusive for 249 pp last September for a week four star from Manchester.

I really don't see your issue.
Isn't it better that the youth who want to get drunk are contained to areas such as this, rather than going to every resort and then potentially ruining everyone else's holiday. At least you know where you stand with places like sunny beach,Kavos,Magaluf and so on,
There are thousands of other places to go if you want a relaxing holiday and only a handful of resorts that are geared up for the youth. And to be fair if the clubs and pubs weren't built at these places, then people wouldn't go there to get drunk in the first place. They are encouraged to go to such places as the owners know there is big money to be made so they play on this and build all the clubs and pubs they can to entice these people to the resort,so it's not really (as you would put It) the knuckle draggers fault.
I'm guessing you are just bitter that you didn't have fun when you were younger so you now **** others off for letting their hair down in places that are geared up for those type of people.
Personally I wouldn't take my family to such places if I wanted a relaxing break, but that doesn't mean I begrudge others for wanting to do their own thing. Each to their own I say.

Be mindful that the tourist season in Bulgaria starts in mid June. The weather in April is still cold and not many tourist places are open. I don't think you should expect having as much fun as going in summertime.

Good deal, i also see a comment of tattoo wives coming into the equation, this is a deal, who says it isnt for those that want to beer swill as it was put. Also hire a car and get out of the area for the day and look around??? we dont have to sit by a pool all day and night. Its a great price for exploring so HEAT

I went last June for a drinking holiday, if that's what you are going for then it's fine, hotel was full of chavs but we generally avoided these by sticking to bars rather than clubs. Didn't really ever feel unsafe even when walking back after a few drinks, we were only 5-10 mins walk from flower street though.

Stayed in Sunny Beach with my wife and two kids last year. Wouldn't go again if you paid me! It was like Magaluf, Blackpool & Benidorm rolled into one!! If that sounds tempting, then get booking  I've added heat as it's still a great deal if you're that way inclined.

Me and the missus went last summer and would deffo go back, would highly recommend it. Get a really nice hotel in a good location in the resort, ours was right on the beach and enjoy it. Weather was fantastic and price wise its one of the cheapest places in Europe to go. A good quality beer in a good spot is still only about a pound! Beach is superb with a blue flag rating, we went swimming in the Black Sea every day, loved it.
Be careful with the dates on this holiday though, I suspect many places won't be open as the season doesnt kick in until mid to late May.
