My card was used as I had purchased a Larder fridge this was in April as it cost a lot more than £50 but still have not received my voucher. I have had contact and was told that Scott Hunter would be contacting me but no luck. I was given a case number which is 06384628 can you help sort it out. ? Hope you can

It happened to me once last year (the one before that no problem, got that through post without I need to do anything to chase at all) so I contacted them and then get it back. (I had option to have it straight back to my account for next time online purchase or got a physical card through post).
Maybe you could try that as well.

Live 90 miles from nearest store so rarely get to shop in person. Didn't know they had these loyalty cards. Have just signed up for one and tried to see if for brand new customer, it would activate but no. Got this message;
Please note : Membership number must be 11 digits long, your membership number can be found on the reverse of your card.
Only customers who have been allocated the incentive are able to activate.
The supplied my John Lewis number could not be found. Please check you have entered the correct digits and are within the validity dates specified on the voucher.
Just about to buy hubby an expensive watch for his 60th, so it was worth a go.

Good - can you give us the validity dates on the voucher please?
1. One £5 gift voucher will be sent within 28 days to eligible customers who make a single transaction of £50 within a John Lewis store or online at http://www.johnlewis.com or on their mobile at johnlewis.com, between the validity dates stated on the reward voucher.

Re the above post, by the way, the offer's probably already expired, but there's no way of knowing the validity dates without the actual piece of card that was sent through the post.

This is what you get if you activate the 'reward':
"You have successfully activated your exclusive reward from my John Lewis
What to do now:
Just spend £50* in a single transaction between the validity dates stated on your reward voucher, in store using your my John Lewis card or, if shopping online just make sure you're signed in to your account.
Your £5 gift voucher will be sent to you automatically in 28 days.
Terms and Conditions:
1. One £5 gift voucher will be sent within 28 days to eligible customers who make a single transaction of £50 within a John Lewis store or online at http://www.johnlewis.com or on their mobile at johnlewis.com, between the validity dates stated on the reward voucher. 2. Offer not valid for transactions made in catering operations or Waitrose food halls within John Lewis or on Gift List, Kuoni, John Lewis Insurance or John Lewis Nursery List purchases 3. Only one £5 gift voucher per customer. 4. This offer is only valid for customers who receive this voucher and who activate the voucher at johnlewis.com/reward then subsequently spend using their my John Lewis card in store or when signed in to their account online. 5. This offer is not valid on any purchases made in Waitrose stores or on Waitrose.com 6. This offer will not be valid if provided to a friend. 7. The gift voucher sent to customers following the valid transaction can be spent in branches of John Lewis, Waitrose or johnlewis.com 8. No cash alternative available. 9. Full terms and conditions on the use of the gift vouchers can be found on the back of the gift voucher and at http://www.johnlewis.com 10. For Partners who wish to redeem this offer, the single transaction value must be £50 or more after Partner discount to qualify. 11. Lost vouchers cannot be replaced."
Unfortunately, it's highly account-specific and will only activate if you've received something in the post already telling about it. Theoretically, this My John Lewis Card also gives you a free drink+cake, which was supposed to be at least 3 times a year. In reality you'll be lucky to get any at all now. And this £5 off £50 offer is aimed almost exclusively at people who don't shop at John Lewis. If you're a regular it probably won't work for you. John Lewis famously penalises its regular customers - it doesn't incentivise them (it has no need to).
