Is the debenhams card free? I thought you needed to pay a fee to receive it or use it to buy something in debenhams so it can be activated?

Yes. It's free to sign up for the beauty club. This isn't a credit card.

Phoned to book mine, told her I wanted the free birthday wax and she said 'ok, I'll book you in for the wax and tint' thinking i was getting a freebie tint as well I asked her to confirm... 'oh, no, but only £12.50 for the tint' so you need be careful when booking...unless you want to pay that much extra for the tint. :confused:.

That would be fine. It's something like a week (or possibly 2) either side of your birthday but hurry and sign up to get your card in time. You'll get an email to say it's on its way so you could always show that. Check the small print for the exact terms and conditions but at my Debenhams I think they'd be fairly flexible. Enjoy your brow wax.
