How is optimisation on the PC version? I'm AMD. Is there more gameplay in this as opposed to something like Ethan Carter, or Gone to the Rapture?

Runs really smoothly on my GTX 970, sorry that's the best I can offer. It's about on par in terms of length with those two games. I slightly preferred it over both of them.

Or wait for it on PS+? (if you have a PS4 of course)
I've been holding off as been burn't too many times, also cos trying to work my way through backlog and resisting sales.

Heat added.
It's the same price on gog.com if you prefer to buy from there.

Such a boring game. It was the most dissapointing game in 2016 for me.
Reading reviews, the hype and all....maybe it's just me. The game had no climax at all.

I really enjoyed the game right up until the end, I agree it was very anticlimactic

The comments on here don't do the game justice. It's a game, not a hiking simulator at all. Its focus is the story, characters and acting, but it doesn't feel like you aren't in control at all, the conversation flows freely and you can choose to do or not do things. It's beautiful, and the ending was pretty good I thought. It's not too short, you shouldn't extend a story for the sake of it. People would say a 4 hour film is far too long even though it costs more than this game. The gaming market is full of needlessly long games that become drab quite quickly, that's why people expect this game to be longer. It's strange because as attention spans get shorter, people seem to be able to do the same thing over and over again for more hours than ever before.

Firewatch is great.
Wouldn't really call it a 'game' though, more a hiking simulator.

Great game. If you like a story and atmosphere then it's worth it. Quite short but we need more games like this

Couldn't agree more. It obviously divides opinion and everyone wanting the big blockbuster ending. But that isn't real life. This feels real.

Oh! Play life is strange instead or as well as this.

Life Is Strange was SO good! Is this quite similar then?

It's ok. But if you want an engaging story and characters you'd better of spending the cash on a good book.

Just finished this on ps4 and I enjoyed it but I don't think it's for everyone , all about the dialogue and story , I was a little disappointed by the ending but I was impressed with the voice acting and care that went in to making this game

Yeah really agree with this. It's good and the acting is brilliant but for me the story let me down in the end. Worth the money at that price

My favourite game of last year. It's short, but felt the pacing was about perfect. Compare this price against the cost of going to the cinema. Similar price, but for me this feels far better value.

Yeah those exact three things. But it's good, very charming little game.

An exceptional game to play... if you've got a few hours. Don't get me wrong, it's a game that is astoundly great but the fact it's short let's it down for me. Hot for the price though.

Am I to understand that it's quite short and linear, with little replay value?
