anyone know if it's worth trading up from the ps3 version?

I did, only had ps3 copy 10 days before I bought a PS4. Graphics are not vastly different, just a little better on PS4. You can cross save so you do not have to start again.

Defiantly worth trading up.. there were serious loading problems with the original PS3 version, especially if you had a super slim PS3. The PS4 version is much improved and has a better framerate

It's essentially the same as the PS3 version - content is exactly the same, the PS4 version has slightly better graphics, taking advantage of the extra horse power (I believe the PS3 version runs at either 1080p or 720p with AA, whereas the PS4 version runs at 1080p with AA). One feature the PS4 has that the PS3 version doesn't is you can switch between the original and the remastered soundtracks on the fly. Also, don't forget, if you have a PC you would be able to use the PS4's streaming feature to play it on your PC if your TV is otherwise in use.
This is a good price though, and now I'm torn between getting it for PS4 or for Steam at £9.99 in the Square Enix sale. Might just go for both, as this is a physical copy and will have resale value...

Nice. Recently paid £19.99 for this on the Vita.

Well duh? Just thought I'd mention it in case of the tiny possibility that someone owns both platforms?

I'll let you know when I make progress with THE PILE

Same! I bought it before Christmas, but then I went and bought half a dozen games in the PSN sale. From what I've read, it plays great on Vita. I'm looking forward to it.
