Not so free once you see the permissions the Amazon app needs

You can't have checked for new games for your son in a LONG time, it's been free on underground since August 2015 at least as that's when it says I "purchased" it.

Love this game but I really don't fancy playing it with touchscreen controls!

Too many permissions when you install amazon underground so I never bothered but when it was just amazon app store it was great as there was always a free game or app to download.

From what I understand Amazon tracks how long you have the app open and pays the publisher a set rate per minute / hour.
Strangely Amazon don't directly make any money this. Although they probably have a plan to monetise on tracking your usage.
For example: If you play Duck Tales Remastered for 20 hours, then you'll possibly receive advertising for similar full-price games, or they'll be top of your recommendations list.

Isn't Underground free because suppliers make money on the analytics of you and promotions?!

Having a free app on Underground isn't really a deal, it's the norm.

No there's loads of paid for stuff on Underground too, i don't really know the point

Aren't most apps on Amazon Underground free? Thought that was the point of Underground .... Free apps and all unlocked .... Amazon inject their own adverts into the game between levels to 'pay' the royalty fees
