Multi construction, quick change bit set suitable for use with impact drivers. Multi construction means they can be used on masonry, wood etc. £9 off makes them a good deal and 110 in stock at my local branch so you should be able to find some. Most popular sizes 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8mm.

Just for those who are not sure, these can also be used in a standard drill or hammer drill as well as an impact driver.

Great price. Much dearer elsewhere. Local store has 130 so this appears not to be an occasion to release the geese.

I have a bosch battery operated drill. Would these be ok to use?

They have a hex shank, so can either be used directly or in a quick change holder. Should work with any drill that isn't SDS I'd assume, and even an SDS with the right holder.

They will fit any drill but NOT SDS chuck drills.

Just to let you know. A comment in the reviews on the website states you actually get 4, 5, 5.5, 6, 8mm even though the desciption of the item states you should get a 4,5,6,7,8mm (checked the picture of the item and no 7mm bit). Picky i know, but i did want a 7mm BUT i will still be buying as it is a bargain anyway. Dont shoot the messenger . Voted hot

Cheap because they are useless, no 7mm bit.

I am sure millions of people would agree with you that only 7mm bits are useful, just not on this site.
For general DIY, 99% of the drill bits you use will be 6mm and 7mm. £5 for a set that only has half of the useful bits.

Surely it depends on the job, I seem to go through more 8s than anything else?

REALLY .... 99% ?? Have you ever been on DIY SOS ? So you are saying that these sets of 100 pieces or more are a total waste of time because you only need a 6 & 7 mm bit. Did you also realise that a TAPERED brown wallplug can easily be fixed using a 6mm bit if you know what you are doing and that these bits are not just for masonry but wood, pvc, etc.

I'm perhaps the exception to the rule in that case, but in my general DIY activities, I'm using the Fischer UX and SX plugs. These don't actually come in a 7mm size - the 5,6 and 8mm seem to cover the range pretty well though!

I watched DIY SOS the other day, he was using a 7mm drill bit. Confirmed this set is useless.

Anyone got a hot deal on a hammer? Think I may need one to go with this 7mm.

I'm the one that left the review on screwfix.
just a heads up, but the bags of brown plugs from the trade counter at screwfix are 8mm anyway, so depends which plugs you buy to be honest.
