Cuprinol Less Mess Shed & Fence Care has been specially developed to colour and protect sheds, fences and other rough sawn garden wood. This 5-litre tin provides a quick drying formula that ensures a rich colour and even coverage in just one coat.
Please note, you must ensure that all surfaces are clean and to remove and mould, lichen, algae or moss before applying.
In order to achieve the best finish, stir thoroughly before use and apply using a good quality loss-free brush and brush on evenly along the grain.
If a deeper shade of colour is required, more coats can be applied, but note that the colour in the tub may differ to the final shade when dry.
Allow 2 to 4 hours between coats under normal weather conditions, drying times can also vary depending on the nature of the surface.
The 5L tin of Less Mess Fence Care from Cuprinol covers up to 24m² with 1 coat or 8 fence panels.

Not when you have 40 odd fence panels. This is for 4 tubs. one tub equivalent to £7.50 will do about 20 fence panels and it actually works with one application, where bleach and water well......doesn't really.

heat....got some at Tesco last year for a fiver, it's not bad.... I got autumn gold, be warned it's orange, 6 months later it's still orange. I even contacted Cuprinol about the colour looking different from the tin :confused:

I prefer Croecote which is like the old Creosote used to be but not as environmentally damaging. Upside is it lasts a lot longer as it is oil based and brings out the grain in the wood. Downside is that it is not as environmentally friendly as the water based stuff and only comes in light and dark brown.
