Another thing to note is that counterfeiters are copying many well known branded toiletries, I saw a BBC program last year where Trading Standards raided a reputable wholesalers selling counterfeit Head&Shoulders, the packaging was IDENTICAL to the original but the ingredients caused serious skin problems to the users that persisted even after stopping use. High street discount retailers purchased the items from the wholesaler but the wholesaler purchased them as genuine products, all the stock was taken by Trading Standards and he lost money as did the high street retailers, but it didn't mention which retailers they were. The products where tested by Trading Standard and found to have chemicals that should not be in a product to come in contact with the skin. Trading Standards said that this is an ever increasing problem with products of this type and they only get to know what products are affected when they get reports from the general public.

I am guessing that the main big supermarkets will get their products direct from the manufacturers but when it comes to the discount stores you just don't know where they source their products as I regularly see toiletries with foreign writing on them. I am sure that most will be legit, but how the heck are we suppose to know, or them for that matter, which are fake and dangerous.

I don't mean to scare monger, but just thought better to inform people so that they have all the info before making the decision to purchase.
